Recent online wine purchase
My experience with Winebuyers has been a nightmare. I ordered something over two weeks ago and haven't heard anything about it yet. I did some digging and found out that the company is in liquidation according to the company’s house website. This director has had a couple of companies before, and they all either shut down or ended up in liquidation. I even talked to the people in charge from the courts, and they told me the director bought back the brand. Now, his new company called Elysian Ventures Ltd owns the old website and is still doing the dodgy stuff of taking people's money and not giving them what they paid for. The people in charge are writing a report on everything he's done to pass on to the right people. Looks like all those positive reviews were probably made up by staff or mates. I've reported this dodgy behaviour to action fraud.
First purchase from Winebuyers
When I shopped at Winebuyers for the first time, I was really impressed with how cheap the prices were and how quickly my order arrived. I thought I'd give this online shop a go after a barman recommended it, and I wasn't let down. Their website was dead easy to use, so finding the right bottle of wine was a doddle. I liked that they had loads of different wines to choose from, suiting all kinds of tastes. Ordering was a piece of cake, no hassle with payment or checkout. The delivery was speedy, and my order turned up in mint condition. All in all, I had a great time shopping at Winebuyers and I'll definitely think about using them again in the future.
Whisky purchase for brother's birthday
Being someone who loves whisky, I was trying to find a special bottle to give to my brother for his birthday. When I was looking through all the options on Winebuyers, I was struggling to choose one. Then the customer service team came to my rescue. They listened carefully to what I wanted and pointed me in the right direction towards a fantastic bottle that my brother really liked. I was really impressed by how knowledgeable and enthusiastic they were about spirits, and they made my shopping experience really easy and enjoyable. Ordered whiskey, no notification, chased, no response, mistake, refunded
I recently bought a bottle of whiskey from a website in October and was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any dispatch notification, so I decided to check in in November. I phoned them multiple times, but no one answered or returned my calls. After looking on Trustpilot, I was surprised by all the negative reviews. I realised that I had made a big mistake choosing to purchase from that website. Luckily, my bank was fantastic and managed to refund me within 24 hours. I've learned my lesson - definitely avoid that website!
Quick resolution of delivery query
The service and prices were great. I had a question about my delivery, so I got in touch with them after I placed my order. They sorted it out almost right away. I will definitely use them again.
Browsing for drinks
So, I was browsing online for some special drinks for a fancy occasion when I came across this really cool website that had a wide variety of drinks. It was really well-designed and you could even use filters to find exactly what you were looking for - it was brilliant! What's more, they even had a blog with some interesting information. I initially wanted to get a Prosecco, but there were so many other options that caught my eye. After taking my time and exploring all the options, I finally made a decision and it was definitely worth it. The whole process was really easy and now I'm all set to have a fantastic time! Cheers!
£188 wine purchase
I recently bought a £188 bottle of wine from Winebuyers, but I never got it. I've tried to email and call them for a refund, but no luck. It's really frustrating and disappointing how bad their customer service is. It's not right for a company to ignore their customers like this, it feels like a scam. I'd warn others to steer clear of Winebuyers.
Unfulfilled order
I'm really unhappy about what happened with this online wine seller. I ordered on the 1st of December, they quickly took my money along with £25 for delivery. Although I got an order number, I never actually got my wine. I tried getting in touch with customer service several times, leaving voicemails and sending emails, but got no reply. Their lack of communication and failure to deliver is really not on, so I'm in the middle of reporting this dodgy transaction to my bank. It's obvious this company doesn't run things properly and people should be wary before buying from them.
Specific white burgundy
The folks at Winebuyers really pulled through for me! I was after a specific white burgundy, a certain vintage of Corton Charlemagne, and they were able to track it down for me. It was nowhere else to be found, and I needed it in a hurry. The whole ordering process was really easy, and the delivery came quickly, securely packaged, and with plenty of updates along the way. I have to say, I was super happy with the service and I'll definitely be turning to Winebuyers for all my fancy wine needs from now on. Cheers!
Quick delivery from France
I was well chuffed with how speedy my order arrived all the way from France. Had no clue it was coming from there, but it got to me in just a week, and I'm over the moon. The package was well wrapped, and the bottle was spotless. Can't wait to crack open the wine this weekend and will surely be back for more shopping in the future. Cheers!
Vintage bottle of wine for father's 70th
I recently bought a vintage bottle of wine for my dad's 70th birthday from this online shop. The website was easy to use and I quickly found what I wanted. I was a bit miffed to learn that the wine was coming from Germany, so it took longer to arrive than I expected. But when the package finally got here, I was so pleased to see that it was really well-wrapped and in perfect condition. The wine was just as described and I can't wait to enjoy it with my dad next week on his big day. All in all, I had a good experience with Winebuyers and would definitely think about ordering from them again in the future.

I recently bought some white wine from Winebuyers, but unfortunately, my order never arrived. I placed the order on the 24th of November and waited for it to turn up, but it never did. I tried calling their customer service, but all I got was a message saying no one was available and no option to leave a voicemail. I also tried contacting them online, but didn't get a response. This whole thing has left me feeling like I've been ripped off and really let down. I'd advise anyone else to steer clear of this company.
Birthday wine case
Although I was a bit unsure at first because of some bad reviews, I thought I'd give it a go and ordered a case of wine for my birthday. I was so pleased when the wine arrived quickly and was exactly what I expected from the website. I was really impressed with how good the quality was and the service provided by the company. I'll definitely be buying from them again and would recommend them to anyone.
Christmas wine order
I bought some wine on the 5th of December hoping to have it before Christmas. After a week went by with no confirmation, I emailed to ask about my order. The reply I got was really unprofessional, making fun of me by mentioning Star Trek teleportation. Even after sending more emails, I didn't hear back. I had to get Santander (my bank) involved in a dispute to get my money back, which was sorted out on the 17th of January. It's safe to say I was very unhappy with the whole thing and won't be using their services again.
Multiple bottles of wine in mid December, refund not received
I ordered a few bottles of wine back in December, and after getting a payment confirmation, I was excited for my delivery. But, I never heard anything. I tried reaching out to their customer service team from late January, but didn't get much of a response. Eventually, after a few weeks, someone told me they couldn't send my order and said they'd refund me. It's now February, and I'm still waiting for the refund they promised. Dealing with this company has been really frustrating and disappointing - it feels like a scam.

Slow delivery, persistence needed
My first time dealing with this wine supplier wasn't great, to be honest. I had to wait a whole month for my order to arrive, with no explanation at all. I started to lose hope, thinking maybe the company had shut down. I even questioned whether they were still taking orders ethically. But against all odds, the wine finally turned up at my door yesterday, exactly a month after I ordered it. I'm glad they eventually came through with the order, but the lack of communication and slow delivery were disappointing. Waiting a whole month for a package with no updates or apologies just shouldn't happen.

As a customer, I got a bit worried at first when I didn't get an email saying my order had been sent out, and no one was replying to my emails. But I was happy to see my wine arrived in one piece.
