They actually sorted it, no drama 4 May 2026

they fixed the problem and I’m properly relieved. I’d bought a ceiling fan and some infra-red heaters from Patio Heat and Shade over the last year for the new deck. At first I was a bit wary because our builder wasn’t clear about the power needs for the heaters, so I rang PH&S and a helpful lady talked me through what we needed — actually knew her stuff, which made that part easy. Fast forward a few months and the ceiling fan stopped working. I phoned up, did the usual back-and-forth with the manufacturer helpdesk as well, and after a couple of calls they confirmed it had failed and organised a replacement. The replacement was dispatched the next day and I was told to hang on to the original unit in case any bits were needed later — weirdly practical, that. I’ve had worse experiences with other suppliers where even simple warranty stuff drags on, so I was pleasantly surprised at how prompt and professional these people were. I even made a note of the names this time, both at PH&S and at the fan maker, because they actually did what they said they would. Slightly sceptical at first, but ended up satisfied.
