All sorted in the end, so I'll use them again. I first saw the item when a colleague sent the link and tried to order straight away, but the payment verification sent me to my bank and I couldn't get back to finish checkout. I had to wait the weekend and by then the price had gone up. Kathy phoned, completed the order and honoured the original price, which I appreciated. I was a bit annoyed at first, mostly impatience.
Leg exerciser hassle
Ultimately I won't order from them again, although it was sorted in the end. I bought a floor leg exerciser to use under my desk when working from home, but it was too heavy so I returned it with Evri. For weeks it showed as in transit and emails were ignored — I thought I'd lost nearly £100. After plenty of chasing they refunded me, but it was a faff.
Nice gear, poor backup
Overall, I really like the clothes but their customer support is disappointing. I ordered several pairs of jeans and a few bras for work days and lazy weekends; they fit nicely and I wear them all the time. I returned some items well within the 30‑day window. Then radio silence. I sent a couple of emails and used the website enquiry, nothing came back. PayPal helped a bit but I never got the full refund — still missing about £9.33. Not perfect, but the gear works.
Not straightforward returns
I’ve bought a few things from them because I needed a cheap mattress topper for a dodgy back and some boxes for a last-minute move. The items themselves were fine, nothing fancy. Trouble started when I tried to return one — post office apparently couldn’t deliver, left a card, then wouldn’t hold it at the sorting office so it came back to me after about 18 days. That ended up costing me time and postage (I paid), which is annoying; not sure I’ll bother again.
Unexpected call costs
I was half undecided before buying — the site felt a bit sparse on confirmation so I hesitated, but I ordered on Sunday and it turned up Wednesday and worked fine. I called because no email came and they said confirmations only go after dispatch. Two days later I tried to cancel and was told it was already out for delivery. I received it, but my phone bill showed £12.42 for about 11 minutes on their customer line. Not great.
Unpacked, doubts stayed
the rep kept saying to wait for a factory reply with no timescale, sounded terse and then hung up. My initial doubts weren’t eased. I’m disappointed and a bit annoyed.
Odd little win
I discovered a skin sensitivity and returned one unopened package, which took longer to process than I expected, that was a mild irritation. Still, after chasing them up they sorted a refund and I felt relieved. Happy I gave them a go. Would recommend to mates wanting decent stuff at a fair price.
Not worth the hassle
Sitting with a cuppa, I realised the coat I’d bought felt like cardboard and wouldn’t bear daily wear — seams already loose, lining puckered. I mailed it back because it was useless for school runs or commuting, so awkward. After weeks with no reply I involved PayPal; only then did they process a refund. It’s irritating — not so much that the item was poor (though it was), but that they expect you to chase and to use a third party to get what should be straightforward. Bit of anger, bit of relief; I won’t risk them again. Not again, ever.
Left in the lurch over a parcel
I was halfway through my morning routine when I noticed the thing I’d ordered hadn’t turned up — and that’s when the whole awkward exchange started. I’d hesitated before buying because I’m a pensioner and can’t really do online forms, but they said they’d post a DOR form so I could sort it. That promise never materialised. A month later no form, loads of emails from me (probably a dozen) ignored, and I’m out of £30 for something I needed for day-to-day use. It’s annoying, feels a bit personal even — customer service basically vanished. Won’t be ordering from them again.
Half-good product, poor follow-up
chasing a refund. Two phone calls, each one taking ages to get through, over 20 minutes on the line, and yes, I paid for the calls myself. On both calls someone said they'd sort a refund, first was "in five days", that didn't happen, second time they said 7–14 days. Strange thing is they took my money straight away when I ordered. I also mentioned the purchase was after seeing it on Sky shopping, and the reply was a bit lukewarm, like pass the buck. As someone who's dealt with customer service a fair bit, I expected quicker resolution. On the plus side the product quality surprised me in a good way, so I'm not dismissing them entirely — just wish their refunds and communication matched that.
Tea, patience and no refund
one agent sounded properly apologetic at least, but it came far too late.
New air fryer
I recently got a new air fryer and I was a bit apprehensive about ordering it online because I'm not that great with technology, you know? But it turned out to be pretty straightforward and simple! To my surprise, it arrived quite quickly and was packaged up neatly. The air fryer is fantastic! I'm still adjusting to the timer settings as I've always used gas, but the food I've cooked with it has been excellent so far! Thank you very much!
Muscle toning vibration belt
I bought a muscle toning vibration belt not too long ago and I've been using it on my abs and glutes for about three weeks now. I've got to admit, this thing really works! The Vibratone Max does an amazing job at stimulating my muscles and helping me build muscle and burn fat. One thing that really stands out about this belt is that you can use it while just chilling on the sofa, so it's super convenient and easy to fit into your daily routine. I'm really happy with my purchase because I've seen great results in such a short amount of time.
Vibration plate purchase
I bought a vibration plate from Best Direct a couple of years ago because I can't do normal exercise because of some health issues. I've been really happy with how it's worked for me. In the past two years, the vibration plate has helped me lose more than three stone in weight and has made my lower body much stronger. I use it for about fifteen minutes most days and now it's a really important part of my daily routine. I definitely suggest it to anyone who wants to get stronger and fitter.
Online shopping regret
I made a mistake and ordered something online, but then I changed my mind and didn't want it anymore. I tried to return it, but the company said they couldn't send me the label because they had moved offices or something? It's not my fault, right? They said they would send it soon, but it's been ages and I still haven't received it! I even spoke to a guy named Daniel who was supposed to call me back, but it seems like he forgot my number or something! UGH!
Ab booster plus purchase
I recently bought the Ab booster plus and I have to say I'm pretty happy with my experience. I ordered it on the 2nd of May and got it on the 1st of June. At first, I was a bit worried when I didn't get an email confirming my purchase. But after reading some reviews, I decided to message customer service through Messenger. They got back to me quickly and said my order was on its way. Soon after, I got an email confirming the expected delivery date. I think Best Direct should work on sending an email confirmation right after purchase to ease any customer worries.
Stock availability issue
I was so gutted with my recent buy as it ended up taking a whopping 2 weeks to get to me. So, I got in touch with customer service, and they told me they were just waiting for more stock. Honestly, in this day and age, waiting that long for something is just not on. It left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I had something specific in mind to use it for.
Velform Coverre purchase
I recently bought a Velform Coverre and was really disappointed with it. The cover was thin and didn't give me the coverage I needed. It clearly wasn't suitable for what I wanted and I regretted buying it. When I spoke to customer service about getting a refund, they refused, which just made me more frustrated. Also, the extra containers for face and upper lip were so tiny that it was almost impossible to get any product out of them. I suggest going to a trusted store like Boots and getting a better product for a more reasonable price. Overall, I won't be buying anything else from this company because of the dodgy quality of their product.
Air fryer purchase
I have to say, I'm really pleased with my new air fryer. The delivery was surprisingly quick, and when I realised there was a missing accessory, they sorted it out straight away without any fuss. The air fryer oven itself has completely changed the game in my kitchen. I use it almost daily - whether it's just to quickly warm something up or to prepare a whole meal, it's now a crucial part of my daily cooking routine. Not only is it super efficient, but it's also easy to clean and looks great on my kitchen counter. I can't believe I waited so long to get one of these!
Disappointing purchases
Don't bother wasting your hard-earned cash on this company! I purchased three items and they were all big disappointments. The paint runner Pro was useless, so I went back to using my roller and brushes. The sauna belt was a joke, my hairdryer generates more heat! And as for the velform shape wear, it was totally ineffective and no refunds allowed! It's all just a load of rubbish.
