I needed new flooring quickly because of a move and my aching back — standing on uneven boards wasn't helping. I was a bit sceptical about the timings, but after ordering they emailed a delivery date, I rang to tweak the order and a helpful lady called back to confirm. As it was in stock she dispatched straight away and kept sending emails so I knew exactly when it would turn up at the door. Relieved.
Turns out it's lovely
I put the laminate down in the living room and honestly it feels nicer than I expected — sort of solid underfoot, not hollow, and it looks like real wood when the light hits it. I mop it a few times a week and it wipes clean, which is handy with two kids and a muddy dog. Price was decent, delivery was rearranged for me without much faff and the person on the phone was properly helpful. Glad I chose it, would buy again.
Not what I hoped for
I nearly didn’t order — worried about online floor orders, photos, that sort of thing, though I was hopeful it would be fine. I started fitting the boards the first weekend and pretty quickly noticed a few packs were damaged. I rang customer service and got a very generic reply from Melissa (she handled my case, but the message felt copy‑pasted). They still charged return and restocking fees, and the collection day changed twice because of mixed info. In the end a tiny 10% refund (£1.80) was offered on one pack. Bit disappointed, wouldn’t rush back.
Right in the end
I was tucking the last plank into place when I realised I was pleased. I ordered the flooring on 7 January and the first couple of boxes turned up the wrong shade, and it took ages to get the right ones. When I started fitting them a week later the boards looked like the photos and felt solid underfoot — that was the moment I felt satisfied, not ecstatic but relieved. The process was clunky, calls went to sales and chat had long waits, but the product itself was decent.
