don’t trust them with pale upholstery — my cream boucle chair ended up stained and it’s been a right faff. I first came across them on Instagram after my sister recommended them, so I thought I’d give them a go. The problem started when the black dye from a cushion bled onto the new chair. They did offer professional cleaning, twice in fact, which was a bit surprising — and the co‑owner even gave me his direct number and said he was on WhatsApp 24/7, which felt promising at first. But the cleaning didn’t fix it and the chair apparently needs re‑covering, which would cost about £300–£400.
What really annoyed me was the response after I left a review: instead of working things through, I got a message basically telling me to delete the review or they’d stop talking and I’d have to take legal action. I’d already been chasing emails and calls for months, so that felt like a bit of a lecture rather than a solution. It’s been nearly four months now and the whole thing has dragged on. There were some decent bits — they did try to arrange cleaning at their expense and sounded genuinely helpful on the phone — but the outcome so far is poor and the tone of that message left me baffled.Not the worst, but not great either
I wouldn’t buy from them again. The whole thing felt sloppy and undercooked. I ordered a nearly £500 carpet and was fairly confident because they said they ship worldwide — turns out that confidence was misplaced. The parcel went out but without clear contact details for the recipient, so it was returned and then somehow lost in the shuffle. That’s the basics of the story. I spent weeks emailing and mostly getting silence from someone called Beccy; occasionally a reply, often nothing. After two months I was told the item would be resent once back in stock, but when it arrived back with them they cancelled my order without explanation and simply refunded me. I tried again via another channel (Amazon) and saw the same abrupt cancellation and refund show up today — again, no real apology or clarity. Shipping problems happen, I get that, and I’ve had worse and better experiences with other sellers, but good customer service should bridge those gaps. I was sceptical at first, and in the end the only decent thing was that the money was returned — so I’m not left out of pocket. Still, the way they handled communication and the lack of responsibility left a bad taste. Not recommended unless you don’t mind the risk and chasing refunds.
