Cancelled holiday insurance claim
My dad fell ill just before our holiday, so we had to cancel it. It was really distressing and we had to send in all sorts of paperwork, even his death certificate. Despite this, we were still required to get a form from his GP which cost £40. It took ages for them to provide any updates, and then we found out they had already approved the claim without informing us. And the extra fees they charged us for no reason were just ridiculous. Honestly, it was the worst experience ever.
