    I went with this insurance company because their prices were really good, and I also got a discount through my job. When I had to change my trip due to the pandemic, they were understanding about it. They allowed me to reschedule without any extra charges, which was nice of them. They mentioned that you can make changes up to 18 months from the booking date, not from the actual travel date. Initially, they hesitated to give a refund when I eventually had to cancel the trip. However, they clarified that the cancellation cover begins from the booking date, not the travel date, which made sense. I suggested receiving a partial refund for the unused parts of the insurance, such as health and possessions. They promptly refunded almost half of the money, which was great. I'm satisfied with the refund and they even provided us with a year of cancellation cover for future use. The policy wasn't too costly, so it's not a significant loss. I haven't needed to make a claim yet, but their customer service was excellent, so I will definitely use them again in the future.

    Annual travel insurance clarification

    I had to clear up some stuff about medical clearance and Covid-19 exemptions with my travel insurance provider recently. It took a few emails back and forth, but I have to say, their customer service was top-notch. They got back to me quickly and gave me all the info I needed, which was great. Normally, when dealing with insurance companies, I get stuck on hold for ages and passed around between different people, but not with Insuremore. Their customer service team was a real game changer. The only tiny downside was that the replies just said 'Insuremore', so I wasn't sure who I was talking to. Still, it was clear that they had really looked into our previous conversations.

    Family travel insurance purchase

    My experience with the company was really good. I bought a family travel insurance policy and went for the deluxe package, which came with free car hire excess insurance. I was so happy to find out that my kids were covered for free, which made the whole price really reasonable. Buying the policy was easy and quick, and I liked that I didn't have to pay more for car hire insurance at the rental company. I would definitely think about using this company again next time I need travel insurance.

    Cruise trip cancel

    This insurance company is absolutely fantastic! We were all set for a lovely cruise holiday until my mum fell ill and we had to cancel everything. But luckily, this insurance company came to the rescue! We put in our claim and got our money back promptly - other than the annoying air passenger duty, but that's out of their hands. I was really anxious because I'd heard some negative feedback, but they were incredible from beginning to end. I highly recommend them!

    Holiday insurance purchase

    I had an absolutely awful experience with this company. I booked a holiday and got their travel insurance, but then my trip got cancelled because of the coronavirus. Although I managed to get my money back for the holiday, those dodgy lot wouldn't refund me for the insurance. Even after getting legal advice and being told I should be refunded because of the pandemic, they still said no. I'd steer well clear of this company if I were you.

    COVID-cancelled holiday insurance

    I had a really awful experience with this company! I bought travel insurance before the pandemic, thinking I was covered if my holiday got cancelled. Little did I know how wrong I was. When my April holiday was cancelled due to COVID, I contacted the company to make a claim. They quickly sent me a claim form, which I filled out and sent back via recorded delivery. I even checked the tracking to make sure they got it. But that's when everything went downhill. I heard nothing for weeks, despite trying to contact them many times. Their phone line went to an answering machine, so I left my details as asked - but never got a call back. I then tried emailing them, but only got automated responses that didn't help. The insurance I paid a lot for turned out to be a waste of money, as this company clearly doesn't plan on providing the service they promise. I won't be using them again!

    Competitive Family Annual Policy with Car Hire Excess Waiver

    I found out about this company from a mate of mine who's been using their services for more than ten years. Thought I'd take a look at their prices for a Family Annual Policy for my four kids and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable they are. And on top of that, the policy also covers a car hire excess waiver, which is a fantastic extra. Great stuff!

    I had a really bad time with my travel insurance when I got stuck in France in August because of an air traffic control problem. Even though the policy clearly stated I was covered for cancellations, the people in charge of paying out wouldn't give me any money. It was so annoying and disheartening to be left in such a tough spot with no help from the insurance company. It felt like I was dealing with unhelpful staff who cared more about not giving money than helping out customers when they needed it. I definitely wouldn't recommend using this company for travel insurance.

    Trip to South Africa with cancelled flight

    Hello everyone, just wanted to share that my family and I took a trip to South Africa last December. Everything was fantastic until our return flight to the UK in January got cancelled. We had to book another flight with a different airline, thinking our travel insurance would help cover the extra cost. However, after many months of trying to sort things out, Insuremore informed us that it's classified as a delay rather than a cancellation. What a disappointment!

    Trying to reach claims department

    I've been trying to get in touch with the claims department for what feels like forever now. It's been a whole two weeks and I haven't had any luck at all. Every time I give them a call, I just end up listening to their silly recorded message telling me I'm the first in line, but then it just goes on ringing and eventually cuts off. It's so frustrating! On top of that, I even sent in a claim and didn't receive any acknowledgement. I did what they suggested and sent an email, but surprise, surprise, no response at all! Honestly, my confidence in this company is dwindling rapidly.

    Ordered travel insurance for me and my buds

    So, me and 9 of my mates thought it would be a good idea to get travel insurance for our big trip around the world. We planned to go to India, but our flights got cancelled because of the pandemic. When I tried to call the customer service team, they were really unhelpful and didn't want to answer any of my questions. So, I decided to send them an email instead to ask for a refund since our trip got messed up. It took them a whole month to reply to me and all they said was a big fat no! I mean, seriously? I understand they might be busy, but waiting a whole month for a simple answer is a bit much. Now, I've lost even more money because their refund policy depends on how far into the policy you cancel. And when I try to call them again, I end up stuck on hold forever. Not cool at all, man.

    Cancelled holiday insurance claim

    My experience with this insurance company during the pandemic was absolutely awful. I had to deal with a helpline that never seemed to answer, messages that were just ignored, and no communication about my claim at all. I did everything they asked, filled in the claims form they told me to, but I never heard a word back. It was so frustrating and I felt totally abandoned, especially when I needed their help the most. The way this insurance company has treated me is just not right, their customer service is way below par.

    Single trip cover purchased in October for a holiday to the USA in May 2020.

    I've just had a bit of a nightmare dealing with a travel insurance company about my policy I got back in October for a trip to the USA in May 2020. Long story short, I had to cancel the trip and move it to 2021 because of some unexpected stuff. Most of the companies that were part of the trip were really understanding and helpful with the changes, except for the insurance company.

    simple claim for missed port

    I have been using this company for a long time because they offer good prices. During my cruise last year, a port was missed so I submitted a claim in October. I've been trying to follow up with them through phone and email but I haven't received any response. After reading some negative reviews, I'm now concerned that I won't receive any compensation. I may need to contact the Financial Conduct Authority.

    Policy not fit for Covid-19 claims

    I bought travel insurance from this company, but it turned out to be useless when I tried to claim for financial losses due to holiday cancellation because of Covid-19. I was disappointed to see that the policy had a clause excluding claims related to 'Government Regulations', making it impossible to get any money back. I've been a loyal customer for ten years, but I won't be coming back after this letdown.
