compact, quiet, and actually effective. Within the first year a thin internal wire frame snapped and they replaced it without fuss, which I appreciated. Recently the same bit failed again, so I got in touch and was told to order the replacement from the site. That’s where it got messy. The part page showed “from $95 CAD” but at checkout it jumped to $123, with no clear breakdown. I asked and someone said the extra was shipping. Fine, except when I tried to pay another $83 for shipping was tacked on top of the $123. That doesn’t match the earlier explanation. Another rep mentioned a $20 discount would apply, but gave no code or way to enter it. I took screenshots because the numbers didn’t add up and I wanted proof. The machine itself still works really well and I’m happy with the air quality, so I’m not angry — just puzzled. Airdog should make the checkout clearer for parts you need to keep it running. Simple, transparent pricing would save everyone time. Small hiccup, but overall a solid product that could use a bit more honesty at payment time.
Bit of a palaver
I'd say it's usable, but don’t expect smooth sailing. Bought it for cleaning the flat a couple of weeks ago and plugged it in straight away — honest to God, it stank of ozone, proper chemical whiff. I phoned them, they sent a call‑tag and I posted it back next day with UPS. No refund showed on my card for ages; had to get my Mastercard involved who finally sorted it. When it worked it did the job, but that whole return faff was tiresome.
