What annoyed me most was finding a small monthly payment months after buying some cleaning bits. The order itself turned up fine, so I didn’t think much more about it at the time. There were no clear follow-up emails saying I’d joined anything, which made it feel rather sneaky. When I contacted them, I was told to cancel through my account, except I’d never made one and had to set it up just to stop the charges. It wasn’t a huge amount each month, but that’s not really the point. I’d advise anyone ordering here to read every screen twice and keep an eye on their card afterwards. Not an experience I’d repeat.
Still waiting for this to be fixed
Honestly, I just want the two payments returned and for someone to reply. My order, due on 22 January, ended up going to Ipswich rather than my London address. I asked whether it could be redirected, but was told DPD could not change it once it was on its way. On 6 February I was told through the support ticket that a refund had been processed. Then, when I checked my bank on Monday, there was no refund and I could see another £9.95 taken from my card, despite not making another purchase. The original £9.88 is still outstanding too. I opened another ticket on Monday but have heard nothing back. It feels like a simple issue that has dragged on far too long, and I’d appreciate a proper response and both amounts refunded.
Parcel swap and the missing paperwork
I was halfway through making a cuppa when the postie handed me a box with someone else’s name on it — awkward. I first saw Bazta on a mate’s Facebook post and, yes, I even told my sister to try them, which now feels a bit embarrassing. The parcel contained another customer’s stuff plus a delivery note with that person’s full name, address and phone number (not great). Bazta later admitted they’d sent the wrong orders to two people. To be fair, they refunded me and the items themselves were fine (and intact), so I’m grateful it didn’t turn into a bigger mess. But their customer service kept wanting to move the chat to a phone call and wouldn’t answer written questions about whether my own data had been shared, or how they assessed the breach — which feels like dodging. Delivery was prompt but incorrect, and the handling of the privacy issue lacked transparency. Bit relieved it was sorted financially, but I wouldn’t confidently recommend them just yet.
