Saw them online and hesitated first, not sure about fit or real quality. Delivery arrived quickly and the shoes fit perfectly. There was a dented box and the price feels a bit steep, so not flawless. The handwritten note from Sara was, oddly, reassuring. I'd buy again, though I'd like clearer size info.
Glad I popped in
I went in a bit sceptical — I always struggle to find shoes that fit — and I expected to leave empty-handed. The shop was buzzing but staff still took time to listen, show a few options and measure properly. I wear them for the daily commute and school runs and they're comfier than I feared, though one pair needed a day to soften. Glad I popped in.
Proper decent find
Halfway through trying them on I realised the shoe wasn’t for me, but the point where I really felt pleased was when I phoned and someone actually listened. They were calm, helpful and didn’t make a fuss about the return, which made the whole thing feel simple rather than awkward. It’s the sort of small, caring service you don’t expect these days. Not flawless — a slightly slow reply — but I’ll happily shop here again and recommend them.
Sorted at the last minute
I went into Neggs Shoes in Perth looking for shoes for Mother of the Groom — had been everywhere and was ready to give up. The assistant (can't recall her name) steered me towards styles I'd never have picked and suggested a pair of sandals for everyday wear too. They offered to post one pair to my house since I couldn't carry both, and it arrived the next day. Helpful service and comfortable shoes for events and running errands.
My trainers' annual pilgrimage
I've been popping into the Inverness shop for about 15 years — I live in North Wales and only get up there on holiday twice a year, yet somehow my trainers know the route better than I do. Mostly I buy walking shoes for daily dog-walks and the commute, so they see proper use. What surprised me most was the online ordering — I clicked buy one evening and it arrived the next day. That kind of quick delivery, honest, makes me keep coming back.
Unexpectedly pleased
Rain drumming on the kitchen window, I opened the box and had that proper small-business moment — tidy pair of ECCOs and a handwritten thank-you tucked inside. Grey boots
I've always loved those grey boots I used to have, and when I saw them on sale on this website, I just had to snap them up! I placed my order on the 2nd of September, and they arrived today. To my surprise, there was a lovely little handwritten note included with my boots. And to top it off, the shipping was free! This site definitely saved me from going broke, considering I live 375 miles away and would be tempted to buy every pair of shoes if I lived closer. Winter boots and dress handbag
I had a really nice time visiting the store in Perth. The staff there were so friendly and really went out of their way to help me with my shopping. The assistant I spoke to wasn't just helpful but also gave me some great style advice that I wouldn't have thought of myself, and it turned out to be spot on. On my first trip, I bought some winter boots and a dress handbag, and when I went back I got a pair of men's dress shoes too. The staff were just as friendly the second time, and the stuff I bought was really good quality. I'd definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for the perfect pair of shoes.
Casual shoes for holiday
My husband and I popped into both of your Elgin shops last Saturday, the 4th of May, on the hunt for a new pair of casual shoes for his upcoming holiday. We started at the Foot Garden, where we always get top-notch service from the lovely staff. They were great at helping my husband pick out a pair, but sadly they didn't have his size in stock. They kindly offered to order them for us, but we were a bit short on time as we were jetting off on Monday for our holiday.

I've been searching for these Spanish shoes for ages, even before all this covid stuff. But I finally stumbled upon them in this store. The service I received was absolutely top-notch, so I'll definitely be coming back here for more shopping in the future.

Italian walking boots & protective spray
I had an amazing time at the Inverurie store! Jennifer 88 was a fantastic help - really friendly, knowledgeable, and funny too. She helped me pick out some fabulous Italian walking boots and carbon spray to keep them in top condition. Shoes for Christmas gift
I bought a pair of shoes from this store as a Christmas gift for my husband. When the package arrived, I was really disappointed to see that both shoes were for the left foot and different sizes. It was so frustrating trying to find a replacement gift during the hectic holiday season. I sent the wrong shoes back and emailed the company. Their reply didn't seem very sincere, just hoping the mistake wouldn't spoil my Christmas and they would look into it. I didn't feel like a valued customer after that whole ordeal.
