I ordered last week and at first the site felt a bit clunky, but stock was clear for my local branch. I was half expecting no-one to call, then they rang to book a delivery — that’s when I relaxed. Pleasant, unexpected bit of personal service.
Grumpy delivery, usable stuff
Not brilliant — did the job, but the delivery was a mess. I ordered at the end of February; the driver left it by my electric gates and refused to help move it. He agreed to come back when I had people, rang to postpone, then rang and didn't turn up. Used it for a weekend job; first impression annoyed, now it's usable, just messy service.
Slightly wary but glad
Was a bit unsure beforehand — thought modern styles might be overdone and whether they'd fit my space. Salespeople were solid (not pushy), the fitter did a tidy job and finishes match. A bit pricey and I wished they'd given a clearer lead time, but pleased overall.
Quick same-day surprise
I first heard about Bradfords from a neighbour who tipped them on our local forum, so I thought I'd try for some guttering. Was a bit sceptical after reading mixed comments, but the order process was painless and, to my surprise, it arrived same day after lunch — driver actually waited while I was in town, which I wasn't expecting at all. John from the branch was polite and seemed honest about it being a quiet spell. A couple of items turned out not to be needed, returned them with no faff and a prompt refund. Not sure this will happen every time, but the delivery and customer care were solid, so I'm satisfied.
Unexpectedly sorted
I’d almost written it off when the access looked hopeless, but then the driver said he’d give it a go — that was the moment I relaxed. Office were helpful on the phone, quick to suggest options, and Anders actually managed to get the stone in despite the tight turn. I’ve had rubbish deliveries elsewhere, so I’m proper chuffed and would use them again.
