calls cut off, account details hadn't transferred properly and emails/chatbot messages just sat unanswered for ages. When I finally spoke to someone they said an engineer was needed "ASAP", then booked a late-afternoon visit, which felt odd. The engineer who came was actually helpful and knew what he was doing, so credit there, he did what he could. Still, since the move the connection has been intermittent; it used to be rock solid with Brsk. Overall the transition felt poorly managed — avoidable downtime, patchy comms and less reliable service. If you depend on steady internet, ask lots of questions before switching.
Small shock, big relief
I’m cautiously optimistic. They told me up front it’d be quite a job to get a line from the telegraph pole to the house — lots of drilling and fuss — which was a bit of a shock, not gonna lie. But the engineer, Liam M, was brill: friendly, patient, answered every daft question and didn’t pressure me at all (I could’ve cancelled anytime). He even tidied up better than I expected, which was a surprise. It was only installed today so I’ll wait and see, especially after losing signal so often with my old provider. For now I’ve got good vibes, fingers crossed.
