shipping from overseas, mixed reviews, that sort of thing. In use it was fine for months, which surprised me; I didn’t expect the Bluetooth and Android Auto mirroring to be so steady. Then it started behaving oddly and I contacted support. They were helpful at the start, actually answered and we went through the usual troubleshooting steps. No fix worked though, and they asked me to send the unit back to China for further checks or replacement. That’s when my patience ran thin — I didn’t want to be without a working unit for weeks — so I asked for a refund instead.
They sent clear return instructions and specifically told me to declare the parcel at a very low value. I followed their directions exactly and shipped it off. I kept the tracking handy and stayed in touch with my support contact while it was moving. The tracker showed the parcel stall in Chile in June 2025 and then nothing. Support kept saying they couldn’t refund until they’d physically received the item. I get that policy-wise, but it felt like a catch‑22 because I’d declared that low value at their request, which would hurt any claim.
They eventually offered a discount on a replacement — something around 40% off — and I told them that wasn’t acceptable. I’d asked for a refund, not a voucher or a reduced‑price replacement. After that they suggested I file a claim with the carrier and to “monitor the tracking”, and that was pretty much the last useful reply I got. I have the emails and the postage receipts; the money (around $160 including return postage) is still gone. Oddly, one staff member did show proper concern and apologised, and that felt genuine, so there were moments of decent communication. But the outcome is unresolved and frustrating: no refund, a lost parcel, and a company that later offered me the option to buy another unit at full cost. So useful device, shaky aftercare — just be prepared for a potential headache if things go wrong.Looks smart, turned out useless
GPS dropping out, Bluetooth vanishing, random freezes and a black screen at boot a couple of times. I’ll be honest, I thought it might be a quirk, so I spent ages trying everything: firmware updates, factory resets, even swapped phones and got the car’s head unit checked — the car was fine. I kept hoping a tweak would fix it but nothing did. The thing that really annoyed me was the support route: I reached out to the official store, followed their usual suggestions, and after a lot of back-and-forth they basically said return it within seven days — which isn’t realistic if you’re spending time troubleshooting to see whether it’s your phone, your car or the device. After weeks of emails they refunded me a tiny slice (about $40) out of a purchase of more than $200 plus postage. So financially I lost out and emotionally it was just a slog. I did like how quick it felt to set up initially, that was promising, and I’m still a bit gutted because it could have been handy if it worked. In the end I chucked the box away — couldn’t be bothered to keep it — and I’d warn mates to buy from sellers with a proper 30‑day return or from a big marketplace where customer protection is clearer. If you’re tempted, just know: slick look, questionable long‑term reliability, and support that doesn’t seem to help when stuff goes wrong.
