    Standing Planters

    Over two months since I ordered two items for a christmas present, one of which didn't arrive, I still haven't received a refund. Multiple emails sent that were met with a response that I had to wait for their courier to investigate. Any problems that Charles Bentley have with their courier is not my responsibility. Charles Bentley still has my money, despite saying that I will receive a refund over a week ago that as of this writing has still not appeared. Do not order from this website

    Arrived quickly but the quality of the items wasn’t what I hoped for and instructions were terrible. In the end the door didn’t fit the frame so it couldn’t be put together. There no call centre and no live chat, pretty much no customer services unless you want to wait 5 days for someone to help you out. I lost patience with them so ordered a refund which took 3 weeks. Don’t be fooled by what you see on their website.

    Good afternoon - I am sorry to hear of the issues you have had, we do have a live chat on our website and a customer service contact number. There are not always agents available on the chat, but it sends an email to our team in which gets picked up by the team almost instantly.

    Garden sofa set

    Ordered a garden sofa set on 25th March - confirmation email said we would have notification of dispatch, but this was not the case. Item delivered (unexpectedly) on 30th March, but when we assembled it we discovered it was damaged. Pictures taken and email sent to customer services on 31st as cannot see a phone number to contact. Received an automated email reply saying they would be in touch within 72h, but this has not been the happened. Have emailed since, but still no reply from them.

    Hoping that leaving a review here will open up some communication as we have paid a lot of money for defective goods and so far we have had no response from Charles Bentley.

    Still no arrived cant get through to there office using cv19 as a excuse completely worst company ive ever had dealings with

    I am sorry for the issues you had during this time. All couriers during Covid have been having issues, driver shortages etc which causes a knock on affect for us in the Customer Service team, I am sorry you do not find this acceptable, and I hope this was resolved quickly.

    Chest of drawers

    I ordered a chest of drawers which came damaged, damage in 3 separate points that i couldn't even close the draw. The order came with only one person in the van however the drawers require 2 people. Consequently the driver asked if i could help him lift it from the van to my home. (So much for contactless delivery and 2m social distancing) If this was a delivery for an elderly or disabled person who would assist with the lifting then? I asked for a replacement order but from a different courier however the replacement came from the same driver and once again was badly damaged with paint scratched off,drawers not opening and wood broken off. I have tried to speak to the sales manager Chris for 5 days without a response, ringing every working day to speak to him and leaving email messages without a response.

    I Ordered a large garden clock wich arrived on time but it didn't meet my expectations.contacted CB by email as there's no phone number to arrange a return that was a week ago and I haven't received had any response.bad customer service.
