    Samsung TV

Absolutely shocking customer service and business processes. I attended the Milton Keynes store on Saturday 22 February 2020 and decided to purchase a TV worth £1,199.00. I put £1000 on a credit agreement (Buy now pay later) and opted to pay a deposit of £199 on my debit card. The till system crashed due to software glitch and the assistant manager explained to me that my transaction didn't go through, i was asked to put my card in again and then checked my online banking app to see that 2 transactions where in a pending stage. I questioned this with the assistant manager who assured me that 1 of the payments would return automatically bank to my account, it didn't. I then tried phoning the store which the phones wasn't being answered. Customer service line said they cant help me i have to go back to the store, i returned to the store and waited for the customer service desk to become quiet. I stood 4 feet away i telephoned their store number, they totally ignored it and realised the phones were silenced. I immediately asked why are you not answering the phone, response was "i didn't realise it was ringing" (Thats because you have them on silent). I waited for the store manager to see me about my transaction and defended the process of transactions which i explained that once a transaction has passed a pending stage you cannot reverse the charge. He argued with me and offered to call the bank in front of them as they had confirmed this to me. After 2 trips to this store (approx 40 mile round, twice) i was given £10 for my petrol, i felt insulted with this as my account charges due to being put into overdraft was going to charge me more. The process for the business are shocking when it comes to customer service. i am still fighting for my money back and will never shop here again. I think the ratings here speak for themselves. Anyone who wants to purchase electrical items i would advise to go to John Lewis instead, had a really good experience with them and they understand how to help the customer. Now reporting them to BBC Watchdog as how many customers realise they have been charged twice and got their money back due to their software glitches on the till system. Also Currys have no direction to help customers and communication skills from assistant and store managers are absolutely shocking.

    Terrible

Should be no stars. We had a washing machine delivered in January, the guys delivering it caused damage to our kitchen. cracked floor tiles and a kitchen island ripped off the wall. we contacted curry's who passed the buck to their delivery partner. The delivery partner then played the system for 3 months always contacting us at the last minute in the end stating they could not find a workman to make good the damages. Currys finally took the case back and insisted we get two quotes for the work(it is very hard indeed to get formal quotes for this size of job without paying a fee which curry's will not cover). 5 months after the damage currys will not show any flexibility and are breaching consumer protection legislation by limiting their liability without informing customers! all we wanted was them to mend the damage caused when their product was delivered. Still trying to get the requisite number of quotes. Curry's dont care about the customer or that they are breaching legislation. Will never use them again and advise you all to do the same. Go to John Lewis their customer service is great compared to these jokers
