Order delay and lack of response for refund
I bought something from this company, and I have to say I'm really disappointed with the service I got. They took my money and then told me they had to order from their supplier, which meant my order was delayed. I asked for a refund because it was inconvenient, but they haven't got back to me at all. The customer service has been really poor and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's best to avoid this company to avoid the same problems.
DVD purchase
I was a bit worried about placing an order initially because I read some mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a shot. And boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I purchased a DVD, and it was dispatched on the 29th and arrived really quickly. The interaction with the company was also really good. Yeah, the delivery took a bit longer, but that's understandable as they're shipping items from Guernsey, so I understand. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely shop here again.
Late Christmas present
So I ordered this really cool present for Christmas ages ago (well, actually only 4 weeks but it felt like forever) and it finally arrived yesterday! Can you believe it? Christmas feels like a distant memory now! I was super pumped to give it to someone special but honestly, I can't even remember who that was anymore. I definitely won't be ordering from this place again, that's for sure!
DVD Box Set Purchase
Simply Home Entertainment is really letting their customers down with the poor experience they're providing. They're not being upfront about what's in stock, leaving people waiting around for stuff that's not even there. The lack of communication about when these out-of-stock items will be back is just plain rude, making customers do all the chasing. And don't even get me started on the constant barrage of unwanted marketing messages - it's intrusive and seriously annoying. Despite asking them to stop, they just won't give it a rest.
Item not received after ordering
I made an order from this company and when I asked about tracking details they said they couldn't find any record of it. It's really not on to lose my order and then offer no help or explanation. Their lack of taking responsibility and providing customer service is so unprofessional. I'm really let down by my experience with them and won't be suggesting them to anyone.
Boxset purchase
I bought a boxset from this shop when they had Black Friday offers. I waited for a week but didn't hear anything about my order, so I messaged them but got no reply. I ended up opening a claim with PayPal and they refunded me the full amount of £72 within two days. It took a total of 10 days from when I first bought the item to when I got my money back. I would advise people not to use this shop and suggest using PayPal if you do decide to buy from them.
Order placed on 5 May
I made a purchase on the 5th of May and I've got to say, I'm having some issues just like other people. Once I placed my order and they took my money, I haven't really heard anything since. I've sent two emails but no one has got back to me yet. I know it's only been a couple of weeks, but it would have been nice to at least get a confirmation or some sort of response to calm my nerves. It's not great as a customer to feel like I've been left in the dark about where my purchase is and the lack of communication is really disappointing.
Fast delivery
I placed my order on the 21st of December and honestly, I thought it would take ages to get here. But to my surprise, it arrived this morning on the 24th! Caroline from Customer Service was really helpful, so I'll definitely be shopping with this company again. The communication was excellent and I'm absolutely thrilled with the service.
Incorrect shipping address
I ordered something not long ago but it got sent to the wrong address, which was a bit disappointing. When I got in touch with customer service to sort it out, the person I spoke to was pretty rude and didn't say sorry at all. At first, they thought I had made a mistake but then they realised they were wrong after making me wait on hold. Even then, they still didn't apologise. Now I've got to go through the hassle of sending the delivery back for a refund, and I don't really feel like ordering from them again. It's just put me off, you know?
DVD box set
I recently bought a DVD box set from this company, but my experience was not great. I thought the item was in stock when I ordered it, but it turned out to be unavailable later on. The communication about my order status was very poor, which made me doubt if the company was being honest and reliable. CD and DVD
I recently bought something from this company and I have to say, I am really not impressed. I purchased a CD and a DVD, and even though they sent me an email saying one of the items was shipped, it took a massive 11 days to arrive. When I contacted customer service to ask about the delay, I was told that the second item wouldn't be sent for another 10 days. What kind of service is that? Why not let customers know in advance if items are out of stock or delayed? It's incredibly frustrating to be kept in the dark like this. Dealing with customer service has been slow and not very helpful, which just adds to my disappointment. Needless to say, I won't be shopping with this company again.
Quick and Affordable Purchase
I was a bit wary about buying from this company at first because of all the bad reviews I read online. But, I decided to take a gamble and bought something that was almost half the price of what other shops were selling it for. To my surprise, it arrived pretty quickly and was just like how they described it. I was really impressed with how cheap it was and how good the quality is. Even though I was a bit doubtful at the start, I would definitely suggest this company to anyone in search of a bargain.
Xmas gift disaster
I recently had a nightmare experience ordering a Christmas present from this company. It was a few days before Christmas when a letter came telling me the item was out of stock. On top of that, the letter was sent using second-class post, and I only got it two days before Christmas. So, I ended up empty-handed on my friend's gift, and to add insult to injury, when I called them up, I was put on hold for a whopping 20 minutes before being told I wouldn't get my money back until after Christmas. It makes me wonder why they're still using snail mail in this day and age. There are much better ways, like email, to keep customers in the loop efficiently.
Blu-ray film
I bought a Blu-ray movie thinking it would come pretty fast, but it didn't. The company isn't even in the UK, they're in the Channel Islands. It takes forever for them to deliver, and they don't even let you know when your stuff will get there. Customer service is terrible!
DVD Purchase for Christmas gift
I bought a DVD as a Christmas present from this company recently. It's been 5 weeks now and the item still hasn't shown up. I was hoping to get it quickly, but the lack of communication from the company about the delays has let me down. I've had to keep asking about my order several times, and each time I've been given excuses and more delays. In the end, I've asked for a refund because I don't trust the company to handle orders well. I'm really disappointed with the bad service and communication I've had to deal with.

I've been having a nightmare dealing with this company, I won't bother giving their name. Back in June, I ordered a DVD which turned out to be out of stock, so they said they'd refund me. But now, after sending loads of email reminders, it's been months and I'm still waiting for my money. Their customer service is just so bad. Anyone else experienced something like this?

I bought this really awesome box set and it was a great price. To begin with, they were really good at communicating about my order. But then they went quiet for four days, so I decided to drop them an email. When they didn't reply, I started to get a bit worried, especially after reading some negative stuff online. But you know what? My DVDs arrived today - I only had to wait 8 days, so maybe I was just overreacting a bit. They were nicely wrapped in a padded envelope, so everything was fine. I might consider purchasing from them again. It would be great if they responded to messages, but perhaps Covid caused some delays. All in all, I had a positive experience and want to say thank you!

Christmas gift order
I recently ordered a Christmas gift, but there was a delay in the delivery. I was a bit worried about the customer service after reading some bad reviews, but I decided to contact them anyway. To my surprise, they got back to me quickly the next day and apologised for the mistake. They explained that the DVD was out of stock and offered me a refund. Since I needed it urgently, I had to cancel the order and find it elsewhere.
However, the next day, I got a notification that my cancelled order had been sent out. Even though I told them I didn't need it anymore, Simplyhe did a great job by issuing a full refund right away. They even told me to keep the DVD as an apology for the mix-up. I have to say, I was really impressed by their kindness and will definitely consider ordering from them again in the future. Well done, Lewis and Jonathan, for your quick and excellent response to my issue.
