soft enough, fit the cushions well, and the pattern looks better in the room than it did on the page. So I was ready to feel fairly pleased with it all. The free gift side was another story. I ordered straight away, well before the 6 April expiry date, then checked the tracking and saw a voucher listed instead of the bag. Odd, but I assumed it might be a decent alternative. Four days later the covers arrived with no voucher at all. Customer services said one would follow, which it did, eventually. Sadly it was only 25% off a new catalogue order before 13 April, with postage still charged. That doesn’t feel remotely like a £28 bag; it feels like an invitation to spend more. Bit of a shame really, because the cushion covers have won me over and I’ll use them happily. But the promotion left a sour taste, and I wouldn’t order again on the strength of a free gift.
