they retested the match, talked me through options and sorted a replacement. It took less than an hour on the phone and the swap was done before the end of the day when I popped into the shop. Staff both online and in-store were polite and practical. Not perfect — labels could be clearer — but I'm relieved it was fixed quickly and I'll be back.
Half-unpacked disappointment
Laura Ashley paint leaking from the top and a small hole in the base, a Wooster lid bent, and the Stalmeester brush crumpled with flaked paint on the handle. I emailed four days ago and haven't had a reply. It's frustrating because they used to be reliable; I wanted to praise them. For now I'm cautious and will try other suppliers next time.
