By the time the delivery turned up, nearly 10pm and well outside the slot, the steaks were fully defrosted and noticeably warm. That was the moment I knew we couldn’t safely use them, which was really frustrating. I sent photos and followed up by email more than once, but Liz from Customer Service wouldn’t offer a refund. Honestly, the lack of concern about food safety was the biggest surprise.
