bluntly told the warranty had expired and no repair or replacement was possible, repair service not available. For £109 I expected more longevity and a clear repair route. The customer service was polite but ultimately unhelpful — they couldn't fix it and couldn't offer a meaningful solution. I'm disappointed, partly because delivery and initial experience were decent, but when things went wrong the support let me down. Bit of a bitter end, really.
Half a good buy, let down by support
I was mid-morning, making tea and putting on some background music (home office life) when one speaker went silent — the right channel, dead as a doornail. The speakers had been great up till then, clear sound, good bass for their size, so I tried the obvious troubleshooting (cables, reset, swapping inputs) and then reached out to customer support. That’s where it falls apart. Delivery at purchase was fine and quick, no issues there, but getting any human help after a fault has appeared is impossible. I’ve sent daily messages for several days and got nothing but automated receipts and a bland promise of a callback that never comes. There’s no phone number or real contact on their site, just the usual ticket system that seems to vanish into the void. It’s annoying because I’ll now either chuck a perfectly decent pair of speakers or pay again for replacements — not a great look. Sound-wise these were top value; service-wise they’re not. Useful for music and calls when working from home, just be aware the aftercare is non-existent.
Pleasantly surprised by these little speakers
glad I waited. For the price, these punch above their weight and the buying experience ended up positive thanks to decent service. Small flaws aside, I’d recommend them if you want honest stereo sound without faff.
