I realised we’d made the right call on a rainy Saturday, sitting in the new sunroom with a coffee while the rest of the garden was soaked. We use it every day now, mostly for breakfast, reading and letting the kids spread their stuff out without taking over the lounge. It wasn’t the cheapest option, which did make us pause, but the build quality feels solid and it’s been finished properly. The team on the phone were easy to deal with too; no vague answers, just helpful advice when we were choosing bits. Overall, it’s become part of the house much quicker than I expected.
They put it right properly
Halfway through fitting the roof, my contractor noticed the panels and ridge caps were slightly different shades, and a few screws were missing too. Not ideal, especially as I’d ordered this for a garden structure after a stressful move and really wanted one job to go smoothly. The roof itself felt solid and was easy enough for the contractor to handle, but the colour mismatch was obvious in daylight. I expected a bit of back-and-forth, honestly. Instead, customer service listened, explained the items had come from different suppliers, and the owner got involved personally. They paid for the replacement work in full. That took the sting out of it.
More practical than I expected
I’m genuinely pleased with how it has worked out, especially the running costs. We had the metal-and-glass screened structure fitted a few months ago, with a tiled floor and motorised blinds. At first, I wondered if the automation might be a bit much, but it really isn’t. The blinds make privacy and daylight easy to manage, and the fan keeps things comfortable without seeming to use loads of electricity. Our bills have stayed about the same, which was a nice surprise. The team listened properly, explained the options clearly and didn’t push unnecessary extras. They kept to our budget and the work was finished when promised. Solid value overall.
Early delivery, proper result
Oddly, the delivery turned up earlier than I expected and that set the tone for the whole job. The panels were nicely sealed and sat perfectly — honest, they made the room warmer and you can tell it's efficient, not just a bit of fluff. Building it wasn't difficult, could have been faster if I'd planned better, but it all fitted and looks different in a good way. Assembly needed more fiddly moments than the blurb suggested, bits need gentle tightening, but once up it's cosy, keeps my plants safe from bugs and I do my reading there.
