Electric pencil sharpener
As a new customer on Fruugo, I wasn't sure about buying from a company I hadn't heard of before. But, I decided to go for it and ordered an electric pencil sharpener. The only downside was that it was quite heavy and coming from overseas, so it took a bit of time to arrive and the shipping cost matched the weight and distance. On the bright side, I was glad that I didn't need to use an app for the purchase. The sharpener arrived within the expected time frame and it's working like a charm. All in all, I'm happy with my buy and would definitely think about shopping on Fruugo again in the future.
Incorrectly advertised item, refund received
I recently bought something online, and it turned out to be not what it was supposed to be. It was a right pain, but after months of back-and-forth, the company finally gave me a full refund. Resolving a customer service issue
I recently had a bit of a row with a seller on Fruugo, and after we came to a pricey compromise that didn't quite hit the spot for me, I was really chuffed when Charlie from Fruugo got involved and sorted it all out. I recently bought something from Fruugo and was generally happy with the service. The delivery was fast and the prices were reasonable. But, I got a bit confused with the tracking system. The words like 'where my item is' had different meanings on various websites or countries, which left me scratching my head. It would be great if they could offer more explanation on what each status actually means.
Canvas picture purchase
I bought a canvas picture from this website the other day, thinking I'd get something top-notch. But when it turned up, I was gutted to see it wasn't actually on canvas - it was more like a plastic material. And to add insult to injury, a chunk of the picture had been cut off, changing the whole look of it. It was obvious that what I received didn't match the description and definitely didn't live up to what I had hoped for.

Cool thing but too big

It's really well-made and looks amazing, but the measurements provided were incorrect, making it much bigger than expected. "One size fits all" definitely doesn't apply when it's oversized!
