I ordered, waited and then realised the site was strangely quiet — no clear owner, all glowing reviews looked like the same two people. Felt silly, honestly. The checkout worked fine but I never saw the item. Tried support, got vague replies. Not everything is broken, but I won't risk another order after this.
Small surprise, big smile
I opened the parcel on the sofa, half expecting a bit of tat. Instead the ring caught the light and I actually said 'oh'. It's smaller details — neat box, proper polish — that made me smile. Their customer support sorted a tiny query quickly. After bad buys elsewhere, this felt proper. Bit of sparkle, bit of cheek, really.
Proper surprise for Mother's Day
Spotted the ad on social and thought, why not — Mother's Day was coming. I ordered a delicate necklace for my mum and nervously waited; the delivery turned up exactly when promised and that's when I relaxed and knew I'd chosen well. Mum actually cried a little, said it looked better in person, and I was quietly chuffed. I told my sister to bookmark the shop too.
When the bank finally listened
I was half-expecting a long fight, sat there at my laptop thinking "not again" — the site looked dodgy and the phone numbers were dead. I tried emails, no reply, and one of the return addresses bounced straight back. So I was honestly sceptical the whole time, until the point when my bank actually took it seriously. That was the relief — when the person on the phone told me they'd lodged a dispute and were chasing it, I felt like someone finally believed me. Didn't get my parcel because there wasn't one, but knowing the bank had my back turned my frustration into a cautious kind of relief. If you spot the same red flags, go to your bank fast, keep screenshots and don't rely on their website details. Bit of a faff, but at least something moved.
Half a gamble
some bits were clearly not gold, the 'Swarovski' sparkle was wrong, and half the order was mixed up. Worse, a couple of boxes were empty — yes, empty, and then you realise it's not a simple mistake. Email replies came only after weeks and with awful grammar and odd questions; they even asked for photos of my order when surely they can see the history. After a tedious back-and-forth I did get a partial refund — not great, but at least something. So I'm relieved about that, really, but still annoyed and wouldn't risk them again. PS I’ve had worse from other sellers, but this was a proper pain.
