I remember standing at the back door wondering where to start — the UPVC handles were thirteen years old and properly tired. A mate had mentioned this company, so I rang and spoke to Claire and Becky. I was worried about ordering the wrong bits, but they patiently talked me through what I needed, even suggested a newer security lock for the patio. One part was out of stock but they ordered it and everything turned up in two days. Chuffed and relieved, really helpful.
A decent buy, with one small niggle
double-check measurements and maybe clearer photos would help.
Right look, wrong country
great quality, really pleasantly surprising. I’d paid extra for fast postage so it arrived quickly, which was brilliant, but then found the site in Swedish and no clear note that it was UK spec. Asked about returns and was told to post it back to England at my expense, which cost more than the part. Bit of a faff, but I'm keeping it as a spare now.
Snapped on a rainy Monday
Funny thing — it snapped while I was trying to close the window in a drizzle. The handle was ancient and the company that fitted the glazing had long gone, so I was bracing for a proper faff. A neighbour mentioned Handlestore after I moaned and I found their site quickly. I was a bit wary at first, loads of similar parts and I wasn't sure I'd choose the right one, but their guides were honestly useful. I ordered, it arrived the next day, solid bit of kit — nicer than the originals even — slipped straight on, no messing, and now it works perfectly. Pretty pleased, saved me from replacing the whole frame.
