I was really keen to get these legs for a DIY table and placed the order a month ago. First impression was good — packaging and the two legs I eventually got looked fine — but then the delivery saga began. After four weeks with no news I chased them and was told of a backorder; fine, I thought, that happens. Another month later only two of eight arrived. They suggested keeping the partial lot for a 25% refund, but I needed the full set and asked to return them for a full refund. After that my messages went quiet. It's frustrating because the product itself seems fine, but the poor communication and stalled responses torpedoed the project and left me annoyed. Customer service is where it failed.
Almost there with the shelves
Began doubtful about these cheap fittings but thought I'd give them a go. Used them last weekend; dowels were surprisingly solid, really surprised me. The cam pieces though... they crumbled under gentle torque, so I ordered Hafele cams instead. Bit annoying, but overall not a total loss — assembly finished quicker than expected, too.
Nearly cancelled
I kept checking the tracking and honestly thought they'd lost it — I was half ready to cancel. Ordered it for my home office (needed a replacement fast) and was sceptical about the whole site. But after a slow start the courier finally turned up, and the item works as described. A bit of stress, yes, but overall glad I stuck with it. Won't sing praises, but it's fine.
Proto project stalled
I was in the middle of a small prototype run for a refurb chair — had a sore lower back so getting the right fittings mattered. I ordered a handful of parts and paid straight away. Weeks passed with nothing. A few emails said they were looking into it, but details were vague and no tracking ever arrived. Items listed on the confirmation didn’t match what they later claimed. Then they announced a temporary closure. I can’t rely on that. It’s practical stuff I need now, so I’ve moved on to another supplier. Disappointing and unnecessarily slow.
Repeat errors dent trust
Not impressed — their order accuracy is poor and it’s starting to feel careless. First time I ordered supposedly 55mm alligator clips and received a mixed lot of 25–32mm ones, nothing like what I paid for. Second time I chose a different clip type that the website marked as in stock; a few days later an email said it was out of stock, yet the product page still said available to ship within 24 hours. I’ve bought similar parts from other suppliers with no drama, so this inconsistency stands out. Oddly, the packaging was tidy and the clips that did fit worked fine, so not all bad.
Smells a bit dodgy
I already think this was a con, which is disappointing. The parcel tracking sat at the local post office for three weeks, then suddenly showed "out for delivery" — I stopped the postman, there was nothing. He said they've been seeing this trick a lot lately, parcels that never existed. I chased them five times for a refund and each time they say they'll refund once the item is returned, but nothing was ever shipped. I've had decent experiences with other sellers, so this was oddly sloppy and frustrating. A bit fed up, to be honest.
Faff then refund
All sorted in the end, though it was a proper faff. I ordered a bespoke car cover in late December and at first it wasn't what I expected. I emailed five times and heard nothing. I left a review and they finally replied, explained the Christmas madness and gave me a full refund, and quite grateful.
