Ended up disappointed — not as pictured. Colour was dull, scent weak and bar small; okay to try if you're not fussy, but I expected more.
Proper quality at last
Was a bit sceptical after being burned by cheap brands, but tried Horace for a few months — doubts gone. Solid quality, I’ll be loyal now.

Not bad at all

It keeps my hair where I want it, even on slightly wet days, and it doesn’t feel like I’ve put glue in. There’s a subtle shine but nothing obnoxious, which I prefer. A couple of small gripes — the pot could be bigger and the scent is a touch sweeter than I’d pick, but neither are dealbreakers. I’m properly pleased it did what it said; I’m even going to try their beard balm next because that pomade surprised me. Happy it wasn’t a waste of money, honestly.

I popped into a shop in the Marais district of Paris just before Christmas, and honestly, even though my French isn't great, the staff there were so friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a face cleanser, mattifying cream, and firming gel, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with how good they are. They work really well and are priced fairly too. I can't wait to try out more stuff from this brand in the future.
Haircare products
I was having a hard time with dandruff when I was using a well-known brand, so I thought I'd give Horace's anti-dandruff shampoo and dry conditioner a go. And, I must say, the change was pretty much instant - my hair felt cleaner, looked healthier, and the amount of dandruff was noticeably reduced. The products really seem top-notch because I've been getting lots of compliments on how good my hair looks ever since I started using them. I'm really happy with how things have turned out and I'll definitely be sticking with these products going forward.
Hair conditioner purchase
I bought a hair conditioner from a company I've always liked. But I was gutted to see they reduced the size by 50ml, yet kept the price the same. It's called shrinkflation, and I didn't think a company I respected for good quality products and fair prices would do that.
Aftershave balm purchase
I happened to come across this place while searching for a new aftershave balm, and I must say, I struck gold! The product was fantastic, and I’m definitely going to purchase more items from this collection. The quality is excellent, and the prices are just perfect for these luxurious French products.
