the descriptions sounded great but are they really as good as they claim? And is the customer service as polished as the reviews suggest? Those were my doubts before I bought. After a bit of back-and-forth in my head I ordered a charger and a couple of powerbanks.
The delivery arrived when they said it would and the packaging was tidy, nothing over the top. First charge was reassuring — the powerbank actually held up and charged fast, just like they wrote. Over the following weeks I used the charger daily and it felt solid; the ports are snug, the finish isn’t flimsy, and it just did its job without drama. The small niggle I had — a crease on the outer box — was hardly worth mentioning but I did message customer support to see how they’d react. That’s where the initial worry disappeared properly. They replied quickly, were straight-talking, and sorted my query without me having to chase them. No theatre, just clear updates and a fix.
Being honest, I still check the battery percentage too often, but now it’s out of habit rather than fear. I’m genuinely pleased with the purchase. It’s one of those rare buys where the product matches the blurb and the people behind it actually care. If someone asks me where to get a reliable charger, I’ll point them to iniu and tell them about that train ride — not to brag, just as proof that the kit does what it says. compact, charged my phone quickly and reliably, and felt well made for the price — that actually surprised me, I wasn't expecting much given the cheap sticker price. Then the recall notice landed and everything went downhill. The instructions that came with the recall were vague, so I tried to follow them and got stuck at the web form. Repeated attempts just gave a "web connection error" message every time, even though my internet was fine for everything else. I emailed their support more than once and got nothing but the same automated reply pointing back at the same useless page. Calling was a mess too — one time an automated message said the recall details had been released prematurely and they weren't ready to take calls, another time they were "too busy" and routed me back online. I did eventually get through to someone on their general customer number who confirmed my unit was included in the recall, and then told me to use the website. So you end up talking in circles. It feels like they either aren't prepared or are hoping people will give up. The odd, slightly positive bit: the unit itself performed well while I had it — solid charging and decent build quality — which makes the lack of follow-up more frustrating, because you think they care about their product. I first noticed the problem because Amazon flagged the recall; I tried to alert the friend I’d recommended it to as soon as I saw the notice. Overall I'm mild-to-moderately annoyed: happy with the device in regular use, annoyed with the company’s aftercare. If you already have one, check the recall info and be persistent; if you don't, I'd be cautious. And yes, it's worth a shout-out here so others don't loose time trying to get a refund.
