Left on the kitchen counter while I made tea, the brush set just sat there looking smug. They’re soft — really nice on the skin, good weight, proper handles — and I’ve been practising my smoky eye in the mirror, slowly. Trouble was they arrived way too late for the birthday. And returning? You’ve got to post back to China at your own expense. Lesson learned, sadly.
