I’d be wary of ordering again, which is a shame because the refunds were handled fairly. I bought a pair of trainers in the sale for everyday walks and school runs, but a completely different item turned up. Fine, mistakes happen, so I sent it back and reordered when my size reappeared. This time I paid more as the sale had ended, and somehow got the wrong shoe again. They let me keep it and refunded me, so that part was decent. Still, nobody replied when I asked whether a future order would actually be checked. Now my size has sold out again.
Lovely shoes, tricky sizing
The leather felt really nice straight out of the box, and they look even better on than they did online. Sizing was the awkward bit for me. I normally wear an 8, but that was far too roomy, then a 7 still felt bigger than expected. I ended up keeping a 6½ because I liked them enough to try making them work. They were a bit snug at first, especially on one foot, but shoe stretchers have helped quite a lot. Returns were simple and the customer service team were genuinely helpful, which made the swapping about less annoying. Got them in the sale too, so overall I’m pleased.
Finally sorted, but what a palaver
In the end I'm fairly pleased it all got sorted, even though it began as a proper faff. I needed a bright red pair of Kickers for my niece's wedding — and with my dodgy old shoes giving me back pain I wanted something comfy and bold. Both pairs arrived listed as red but looked a bit brown-tinged, so I asked for a photo. The rep replied she couldn't attach images to emails — which was odd — and then asked which product I meant. That was frustrating. After a couple more messages they agreed to a replacement and the second pair were much closer to the red I wanted. Not perfect, but relieved it worked out.
Fast, not flawless
Overall pretty handy — needed it last minute for a flat move, arrived quickly but the phone support felt a bit distant; saved my back, so I’m pleased enough, though could be friendlier.
Quick surprise
Wasn't sure at first — thought it might be late or a bit naff, but it's actually useful in my daily routine (I use it every morning for work), delivery was proper quick, packaging a tad scruffy and price could be better, but honestly pleasantly surprised.

Surprisingly decent

Proper find
Saw them in a shop window after a mate recommended them. Proper leather, nicely stitched, feels sturdy but soft, broke in fast, arrived quickly, they promised.
Label faff
Left the trainers by the door — I first saw it on Instagram and even told a mate, but the address label was a mess. Courier couldn't ID the recipient so the parcel was delayed; my kid won't have shoes for school on Monday. Quite annoying, honestly.
New-school shoes — promising start
neat, smart and comfy enough to wear straight away. The moment I knew I was happy was when she came in after a long day and they still looked fine, no rubbing or complaints. That said, they weren’t cheap and I’m a bit wary about how they’ll cope with wet autumn days — time will tell.
Properly impressed
I was a bit wary before ordering — seen horror stories from other shops and all that — and they did send the wrong shoes at first. I messaged them and they sorted it proper, apologised, found the mix-up and sent the right pair without faff. My scepticism melted away, honestly. Feels like they actually care, and after that I went ahead and bought another pair. Price was fair and delivery was pretty quick, so I'm pretty pleased.
