don't trust the UK front — it turned out to be a German dispatch in disguise. The site looked properly British, .co.uk email, a UK number, so I ordered thinking all was fine. Only after paying did they tell me the item would ship from Germany and miss my required date. I phoned and asked to cancel within three minutes — yes, three minutes — but they’d apparently already rushed it through and ignored my request. The person I spoke to sounded polite but couldn't or wouldn't stop it. I've seen dodgy delivery info before, but this felt deliberate. Annoying more than furious, honestly a disappointing experience.
Fast and tidy
Delivery was the standout — really fast, even for a tricky item. Ordering was straightforward, customer service helpful when I checked a detail. Item arrived well packaged and as described. I've had slower, messier experiences elsewhere, so pleased overall.
Two lamps, one scratch
I spotted two bedside lamps I liked during a late-night browse and ordered them straight away. Thought they'd arrive in a few days. Then an email popped up saying they couldn't ship because they'd run out of UK/EU converters — converters? I didn't even know those were needed. I phoned to sort it. The woman on the line was really nice and apologetic, credit where it's due. Still, the lamps took about two weeks to get to me, which was annoying. And to top it off, one lamp had a noticeable scratch on the base. That felt disappointing, especially after the hassle. The lamps themselves look great otherwise. I've had quicker, smoother deliveries from other shops though, so I'm a bit hesitant to order again. Bit gutted, really.
Unexpectedly smooth delivery
Oddly, the lamp was better than I thought. Solid build and not flimsy. Delivery was tracked and they messaged me about a two-day delay while stock arrived. That was fine. Customer service replied quickly. I've had worse with other sellers, so this felt surprisingly smooth. They even packed an extra bulb, which was handy.
