Long wait, wrong board and near-zero updates 16 April 2026

I’d ordered DDR4 and they sent DDR5. After waiting a long time that was the straw. I get that some motherboards look similar and labels aren’t always clear, but when you’ve delayed delivery and then send the wrong thing, it’s beyond frustrating. I emailed the same addresses I’d been using and, for a bit, did get a reply explaining they’d been closed for a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year and that my item had been shipped — why that wasn’t on the order emails or on the site I don’t know. If they’d been transparent about a holiday closure from the start I would have grumbled less; at least I’d have known what to expect. At the moment I’m juggling the hassle of a return or refund and considering raising a chargeback through my card if it isn’t resolved promptly. One small positive: when they did respond sometimes the tone was apologetic, and I’ll give credit where it’s due for that — it just came too late and too inconsistently. Overall, I’d say this is a buy-if-you-can-wait kind of place, but if you need decent updates or accurate dispatching, look elsewhere. I wanted a straightforward transaction to build a PC and instead got delays, mixed messages and the wrong part. Slightly enthusiastic about what the board could have been, but let down by the process.
