Sat by the window this morning worrying about parcels — I’ve ordered from them twice before and those were fine, so it was odd when my last one never arrived. Hoping this one shows up on Wednesday; I’ll be happy if it does, but can the driver please double-check the address and either leave it at the side of the house or ring the bell? Been burned before by other firms, so I’m wary.
Slow delivery, awkward returns
not worth the hassle. I ordered in March and it only arrived about four weeks later, and that was after I phoned and emailed asking where it was. Tried it on straight away; fit wasn't right so I wanted to return it. Their reply offered 20% off to keep it, but I said no, I want a return. I then sent several emails asking for the returns address and got no reply. The item itself was fine, decent quality, but the service ruined it. I won't risk another order.
Tiny board, big feelings
Halfway through unwrapping I thought, well this is awkward — and I hadn’t even checked the tape. I bought the set because my nephew, who’s been bed-bound lately, needed something small and cheerful to pass time. I was sceptical online, feared another dodgy listing, so I braced myself. The box arrived quickly, which I liked, but the board and pieces are much smaller than the photos suggested — I did laugh when I needed a magnifying glass to see some knights. It’s not perfect and I felt annoyed, yet the tiny pieces still made him smile, so it’s not all bad, really.
Three-week regret
I thought I'd take a punt because the price was daft cheap, but I was wary — the reviews had me ready to expect the worst. Took three weeks to arrive, which was annoying, and when it did the fabric felt like cheap shiny polyester, not the cosy PJs I imagined. I’ve ordered from the likes of Temu and SHEIN before, so I know what low cost can look like, but this felt worse. I asked about a return and they basically said don't bother, it'll cost more to send back. So I'm left with a £35 item I won't wear and a bad taste. Bit gutted, to be honest. Could've been fine for a bargain, but nope.
