Odd little moment of indecision before I clicked buy — the listing said "about two weeks" and I needed the ring for a birthday, so I nearly backed out. I've had decent luck with other small online jewellers so I thought I'd give this one a try, even though the timing felt tight. In the end the ring did arrive, and the stone and finish were fine for what I paid, so that part worked out. What didn't work was the communication. I rang to check the status only to be told processing could be up to four weeks, then another few days for shipping — which would have been useful to know earlier. I also asked to cancel, was told it was done, but the email confirmation never appeared and the refund took ages to show up; I had to chase them and eventually sort it via my bank. So, not fraudulent, not excellent either — usable product, slow and messy admin. Worth it if you can wait, but be prepared to follow up.
Payment mix-up, eventually sorted
I didn’t expect to spend half a day on what should have been a simple jewellery order, but that’s what happened. I tried to buy a couple of necklaces (one-day offer popped up, so I thought why not) and the checkout started misbehaving. PayPal kept getting rejected with a vague “coding” message, then my saved credit card wouldn’t take it, and finally my debit card seemed to bounce too. Frustrating, I closed the tab and assumed it had failed.
Account mix-up, avoid for now
someone else’s personal details visible under my login. I could access their name and address, which made me stop and think — that’s not a minor glitch, it’s a data breach waiting to happen. I started using the site right after ordering to keep an eye on progress, so the problem showed up almost immediately for me. The company still has my money and hasn’t shipped, and on top of that they’ve mixed up accounts. I’m annoyed and a bit worried — mostly because it feels careless and borderline illegal. I’d treat this as a warning: don’t rely on them for anything sensitive until they fix their security and fulfilment process.
