Standing on the last plank I knew it worked. Saw the samples in Littlefair's showroom after a friend's tip. Ordered online, they were quick. I did the install myself, picked African ebony and oiled it with Danish oil. It looks calm and proper, which is what I wanted.
Really impressed
proper impressed — the medium oak stain and water‑based varnish sorted my hallway floor. I used it over a weekend, brushes were fine, easy to apply and the finish looks brilliant; friends keep commenting. Ordering was simple, delivery really quick overall. Didn’t fuss much with prep, came out better than I expected.
