I almost chickened out because of the tariff mess and all the chatter about delays — honestly I was proper anxious it'd get stuck or be rubbish. But the team at Loch kept us in the loop and when I asked about my Capsule they replied quickly and like a human, which helped loads. It arrived about a week later, no drama, and now it quietly does its job; I've lost one hated kitchen chore and I couldn't be happier. It's not the cheapest model on the shelf but it's solid. If you're on the fence, chat to them first — I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and I might buy from them again.

Tiny dishwasher, big relief
I timed myself once — 27 minutes to wash plates, mugs and a stubborn frying pan. Ridiculous, so I ordered this slim dishwasher that actually slips into the narrow gap beside our sink. It’s thin but solid, and it doesn’t feel like a toy. Ordering was straightforward and it turned up sooner than I expected. First few weeks I used the water tank setup (you have to refill it every wash), fine if you remember, but I kept forgetting and topping it up mid-cycle. After a couple of fed-up evenings I plumbed it into the mains and that was much better — no more extra trips to the tap. It takes the bulk of our washing with two quick cycles a day for our small family, which has saved me hours stuck at the sink. There’s sometimes a faint vibrating rattle during a cycle; a gentle tap usually stops it (I suspect a loose clip or something nudging the side). Annoying but not a deal-breaker. All in all, I’d recommend it if you want to reclaim your evening time.
Countersaving my sanity
it’s compact. That matters — you might need to switch to smaller plates to fit them upright. There are just two of us and we eat at home a couple of times a day, so running it after meals works for us. We also found liquid detergent easier to manage than powder — dissolves better and leaves less residue. Is it flawless? No. The hidden leak was annoying and, well, you do get the occasional niggle with a new design. But when things went wrong, their service turned a potentially horrible experience into a really decent one. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the caveat that you should be prepared for a compact size and keep an eye out for any odd noises or damp spots.
