Ten years on, still a lovely tradition 22 September 2026

I didn’t expect this anniversary book idea to stick for a whole decade, but it has become one of those things my husband genuinely looks forward to. I use it to round up the year’s little moments, trips, family stuff and the odd silly memory, and the characters make it feel much more personal than a standard photo album. The scenes are charming, although I’d really like a few more options for American holidays and birthdays with a group around a table. My main gripe is doing it all on my phone. It can take a couple of hours, sometimes longer, because pages occasionally freeze or jump about while I’m moving things. A proper app would make a massive difference. The price has gone up quite a bit over the years, which I do notice, but I keep coming back because the finished book is always worth keeping.
