I opened the parcel while making a cup of tea and half expected the usual tiny victory of a new case and screen protector. Instead I got a case that simply wouldn't fit. The camera hole was in the wrong place. The buttons were covered. Nothing lined up. That was the first disappointment. I do a lot with my phone — commuting, photos for work, letting the kids watch a video now and then — so a poorly fitting case is more than annoying. It feels useless straight away. I could still use the screen protector, which was fine, so that part wasn’t a total loss. But honestly, the case is the thing I needed most for daily knocks and drops.
I emailed the seller right away. That’s where things slowed down. Their reply basically repeated that I must have ordered the wrong item. Except at the time of buying I’d typed my phone model into their search box and then picked from what the site showed as compatible items. So I feel caught between what the website suggested and their refusal to accept responsibility. They keep sending photos of similar looking covers and telling me those are correct. It’s a bit maddening; it doesn't match my phone at all.
The return process they suggested is a pain. The company is based in Sweden, which I didn’t realise until later, and the return steps are complicated. There’s a warning about customs or taxes if anything goes wrong. Postage back starts at roughly £7 and can go up to around £17 depending on weight. For a cheap case that’s not worth the hassle. I told them I’m not prepared to pay that and risk more trouble. Fair enough maybe, but I also don’t want to be stuck with junk.
So where does that leave me? Mildly irritated. The ordering UI felt fine at first. Delivery arrived as expected. But customer service was rigid and unhelpful. If they had offered a replacement locally or a prepaid return label, I’d be a lot happier. I might still buy their screen protectors, they were OK, but I won’t risk another case from them until the returns and support improve.Peeling case, great delivery
Bought this after a move because my phone was getting banged about, and after a rubbish last case I wanted better. Delivery was spot on and customer service very helpful, but the outer cover started peeling after a few weeks. Not perfect, but it still works
Bit of a faff, but decent kit
Halfway through unwrapping it, I realised I wasn't as cross as I'd been a week earlier. I did ask to cancel, they'd already sent it four days after my email, and their reply arrived only after dispatch saying 'can't cancel' — annoying. Returning it from abroad would be a faff and expensive, but the fabric and finish are proper good, so I decided to keep it. Made me think of other firms that just ignore you, yet the product itself actually won me over in the end.
A bit of a faff, but does the job
sceptical — felt cheap, the metal insert looked clumsy and initially it didn’t sit quite right, camera hole was off by a tad and it scratched the edge when I clipped it on (annoying). After a few tries I realised the metal clip wasn’t needed for fitting and removed it; without that it sits snug, edges cushion the phone and it actually feels reasonably solid in the hand. Bit sloppy finishing here and there, and I wasted time fiddling, but in use it protects the phone and I’m more relaxed about carrying it now.
