I was at my kitchen table, wedding bits spread everywhere, and thought paying extra for 2–3 day shipping would sort it — simple. No confirmation ever came. They later blamed engraving (the site never said that would slow things) and promised a refund for the expedited postage, saying the ring would ship in three days. I chased them a couple of times (polite, then firmer) and nearly a week passed with no dispatch. The one moment I actually felt a bit satisfied was when they finally refunded the extra postage — small comfort, but something. If you've been burned by dodgy sellers before, this will feel familiar. I’m disappointed but relieved about that refund.
Cheap-looking ring, long hassle
So, short version — the ring arrived months late and felt nothing like what I ordered. It was supposed to be Damascus steel, but it looked and felt like a thin bit of base metal with a pattern printed on top. I could actually scratch the design off with a pen, it was that flimsy. On the hand it was lighter and colder than a proper steel ring, and the finish started looking tired after a day. I kept emailing customer support, they kept saying it was correct, which was odd and frustrating. It took ages to get anywhere and in the end my card issuer had to step in and refund me. They also claim to use US artisans, but the whole thing smelled of an overseas mass-producer. If you care about the feel and authenticity of the metal, don’t take the risk — or at least insist on clear photos of the actual item before you pay. I’d have liked a straight answer or a proper refund much sooner; wish they were more transparent.
