I first spotted these controllers when a mate posted a photo after a local tournament and I was honestly sceptical, looked a bit over the top and a touch pricey. I bit the bullet during a holiday sale because he kept banging on about the warranty and the custom bits. In day-to-day use they feel proper solid, way more options than the stock pad — grips and paddles actually help. My worries about spending too much faded pretty quickly, though I do wish I'd added the extra grips to my first pack like I later did. Glad I waited for a deal.
Caught off guard
I wasn’t expecting much at first. The package arrived a bit later than the tracking suggested, and I’m used to slow deliveries from other shops, so I braced myself. Customer service were surprisingly helpful though — quick replies, polite, they sorted a query about a second controller without faff. The controller itself is well made. I had wondered about drift and the chip design; so far so good and there’s a warranty which comforts me. I still prefer the second unit I received to the first. Overall sceptical at the start, but delivery and support won me over, slowly but surely. Could be better packaging though.
Sore back, messy process, usable device
I was sitting with a sore lower back, thinking this gadget might help, when I realised the order was already a mess. I ordered a Titan 2 from Hipshotdot because of bad posture and previous failed buys; I needed something that actually does the job. The site left the order 'confirmation' for days, then said dispatched — but nobody answered emails or messages, not even when I tried to cancel en route. Took me a bit of digging to find Moded Zone runs the storefront, still silence from both. Eventually it arrived after nine days. The device itself is solid, a bit heavier than expected, controls slightly clumsy, but it does ease the ache after a few sessions. Glad it helped, but customer service ruined the experience.
That small relief moment
I wasn’t expecting to be pleased, honestly. I bought this because the LED thumbsticks looked neat, and I needed a sturdy pad — I game long sessions and my last controller died on me, so I didn’t want to faff about again. Within a few months the right stick lost its fine movement, you know the small adjustments when aiming — it went from smooth to jerky bursts. I was annoyed, felt like I’d paid top-dollar for a toy. Then I messaged support and, after the usual back-and-forth, they sent a replacement that actually worked like a controller should. That second one gave me that moment where I could finally relax and enjoy a session, proper precise aiming, none of the twitchy nonsense. So yeah, quality feels hit-or-miss and I’d still warn heavy users away from the flashy options, but I’m grateful the swap sorted it out in the end.
