excellent service — saved the day. We'd just moved and my dodgy back meant we needed comfy bar stools. I'd ordered twice from them and on my second purchase I chose the wrong colour. They rang to check. That call stopped me buying the wrong lot and saved time, money and bother.
Moment of relief
I spotted them on a mate's recommendation and nearly escalated to my bank after a few silent days. I messaged a couple more times, kept thinking I'll wait — then the delivery email finally showed up and that was the point I relaxed. Parcel arrived the next day. Bit messy at first but honestly glad it sorted itself, so yes, relieved and a bit surprised.
My new centrepiece
I wrestled the coffee table in on a rainy Saturday — not subtle, but worth it. The marble-ish top feels cool under the hand and surprisingly heavy, like it’s proper furniture, not a bit of flimsy show-off. First night we actually ate at the big dining table and, oh, it just sits there looking smug. The range is surprisingly broad — loads of finishes and materials so you can faff about and actually find something that fits your place and your budget. Prices felt fair, and on a like-for-like check we couldn’t beat them elsewhere. The best bit though is the people: Harry and Dave know their stuff, they’ll help if you want it and won’t breathe down your neck if you don’t. Delivery was top notch too — Marcus and Rob wrestled a tricky item up our narrow stairs and took the time to get it right, which I appreciated. All in all a relaxed, no-pressure experience. Felt pleased buying from them, honestly.
Delivery drag
they stocked what I wanted and the order total was about £240 for two chairs and a bench. Delivery choices were odd — £30 to the doorstep or £140 to bring it into the rooms, which felt like a rip-off. After paying I got an email saying lead time was 8–10 weeks. That’s a long time for mass-produced pieces, and customer service couldn’t give a sensible reason or timeline. The stuff itself was fine when it arrived, but the wait and lack of helpful communication were annoying. If you’re in a rush, don’t.
Solid service, small hiccup
I'd recommend them, though the ordering was a bit fiddly at first. I spotted Your Home on the high street after a neighbour tipped me. Rob was brilliant — he tracked down the exact leather recliners, assembled them for free and drove two and a half hours to drop them off at a time that suited us. Price felt fair. Only real gripe was a slow email reply. Pleasant surprise overall.

I had that nagging doubt though, small things like no phone number and no order confirmation after payment. I asked a mate to have a look and they said the URL looked odd. In the end I paid with PayPal, thinking I was covered. Then the price on the site changed, which made me freeze. No receipt, no delivery update. Turns out the site I landed on was a spoof. Weirdly, the real company then replied and seemed genuine, and PayPal sorted a full refund, which was a relief and kind of unexpected. So my original worries were mostly justified, but some were cleared up thanks to PayPal and the company's later response. I’m leaving this so others double-check links. Be cautious, check the exact web address, and don’t assume the top search result is the real thing.
