I realised these were a good buy halfway through a noisy train ride, when I could actually hear my podcast without turning it up to silly levels. I’d bought a pair for me and one for my son, who’d just started uni, after our old headphones had become a tangle of cables and dodgy battery warnings. They sit comfortably, block out a fair bit of background racket and the charge seems to go on forever. The real test came about five months later, when my son’s pair suddenly refused to charge. Not ideal, obviously. I contacted OneOdio expecting the usual back-and-forth, but they replied quickly, asked for a short video and sorted a replacement under the warranty within a week. That was the moment I knew we’d chosen well. Pleasantly surprised, and my son is back to ignoring me with excellent sound quality, apparently.
Support that actually listens
Halfway through a podcast, the headphones began doing that faintly dodgy crackle after about eighteen months. I expected the usual support ping-pong, but their team replied quickly and, more importantly, like actual people. They asked for a short recording, got back to me soon after, and sorted things out far more generously than I’d expected. Delivery when I originally bought them was tidy and on time too, which I’d almost forgotten. The headphones are comfy for long listens and still sound properly good. Worth contacting them before writing them off.
