I never thought a bottle of perfume would turn into a small saga, but that’s what happened. I bought this because I needed something that would actually last for a whole day at a friend’s wedding — long travel, long day, and I’d already been burned by a few weak scents before. It turned up and faded after a couple of hours on me, so I sent it back when they asked for it to be tested. Two weeks went by with barely a peep, then I chased them and got a one-line reply saying everything was fine. No real results, just that it supposedly lasted longer elsewhere. They even said the box was damaged when I sent it, which wasn’t true. The bottle sat with them for about a month before they returned it to me. To be fair, they did send it back and I finally got it sorted, so I’m relieved it didn’t disappear into the void, but the poor communication and the blaming felt disrespectful. Won’t risk this shop again unless they sort their service.

Relief after a messy scam
It did what I needed, though I wouldn't call it perfect. I contacted them after losing a fair chunk of crypto to a convincing scam — that’s why I needed help, and I needed it quickly because I’d already tried bank support and the exchange with zero luck. I was properly sceptical at first and asked a lot of awkward questions; they answered most of them and gave a realistic picture (no wild promises), so that calmed me down a bit. Timeline was roughly six weeks from first message to partial recovery, so it's definitely not overnight. There were slow patches — a couple of days with no updates that made me worry — but they kept working the blockchain trails and in the end recovered about half of what I’d lost. The fee was higher than I hoped, and you do have to trust them with sensitive info, so be prepared for that. Overall I'm more relieved than ecstatic. They were pragmatic not flashy, and they offered practical tips afterwards about spotting scams, which I actually appreciated. Would I recommend? Yes, cautiously — if you can accept some cost and no guarantees.
Byredo Super Cedar
Two-year-old stock, no clarity on refund
Ordered a Byredo fragrance — arrived over 2 years old. Age alone isn’t always a problem at a discount, but the packaging looked unfinished and both I and PC found that odd.
I returned it for investigation. They now have the item and my money, but I have neither product nor refund. I only asked for refund yesterday, so it’s not overdue yet — but communication has been lacking.
I’ve made a GDPR/SAR request to see what’s on file. I’ll also be contacting Byredo regarding authorised sellers.

I bought a fragrance from this company not long ago, but I had a bit of a problem with it. They got my address all wrong, so my order didn't arrive. When I got in touch with them to sort it out, the customer service people weren't very helpful at all. They even tried to blame me for the mistake, which I didn't think was fair.
