I nearly went for a cheaper vape, mainly because I was fed up with seeing the Firefly 2 unavailable everywhere. Calling these lot changed my mind, though. Phil talked me through the differences without making it feel like a sales pitch, and they even knocked a bit off the price. The tracking email arrived later that day, which was reassuring. I use it most evenings after work, and the point I knew I’d chosen well was when the battery lasted through a few sessions without needing a recharge. It’s not the cheapest option, obviously, and I’d still say watch a few YouTube reviews first. But it’s worked out better than expected, thankfully.
A helpful call at the right time
Just after placing the order, I got a call from their team asking what I actually wanted from the vaporiser. Honestly, I’d picked one without really understanding the coil options, so that saved me a bit of hassle. The adviser talked it through in plain English and suggested another model at the same price, which suited me much better. Delivery updates were clear and the parcel arrived when expected, no chasing needed. It felt more personal than the usual online order where you only receive a tracking link. If you’re new to this sort of product, I’d say ask them first.
Sceptical, then relieved
communication was slow and I had to chase them, but the end result was fine and I’m actually glad I stuck with it. Could be quicker, but satisfied.
Quietly impressed
Spotted it at a mate's place and then checked the Portable Hookahs site. A friend had mentioned it in passing so I thought why not. I usually stick to portables. This one is a desktop and oddly cheap. Out of the box it feels solid. Metal base, simple dial. No flashy lights. Heating is steady and the vapour is clean and pleasant, not harsh. Sessions are predictable; you can set it and leave it for a minute. There's a bit of a learning curve with packing, but that's on me. Cleaning is easy enough. I'm relieved it works as well. Feels like good value for home use.

Unexpectedly helpful
the new top needed a more powerful battery than mine. We swapped a few emails, did some basic troubleshooting together, and then, to my surprise, they posted a replacement battery free of charge. That was the bit I didn't see coming and it felt quite reasonable, not over the top. Now it's what I use day to day and it works fine for short rides and quick breaks. Overall straightforward, helpful and no drama — decent service, really.
