I first saw these on Instagram after a mate mentioned them, so I ordered two vapes to try. They turned up about a week later, packaging fine and all that, but one was dead on arrival. I sent a video when they asked and got an email saying they'd received it and would look into it. Then radio silence. Their reply to my review claimed they were still waiting for the video, which is plain wrong. They offered a promo code instead of a refund, so I used it, paid shipping again and the replacement didn't work either. Delivery timing was okay, but the whole customer service side felt messy and evasive — a real hassle when you just want something that works.
Quick, solid kit
one pack had a slightly sticky seal, but nothing that stopped me using them. Will order again.
Thought I was nicotine-free
I was ten days off smoking when I opened the parcel. The listing and the label on the website screamed "Nic 0%" so I bought it because I needed something without nicotine — surgery coming up, and I’d been trying to quit. The box I received, though, clearly says it contains nicotine and the ingredients list names it. I rang customer support and spoke to someone called Charlotte who kept insisting the product was nicotine-free and that the warning was just a legal formality. Today I tested positive at the hospital and had to explain myself; utterly embarrassing. The one thing that stands out is the contradiction between their online claim and the actual box — and the confident denial from support. Dryly put, that mismatch is the problem. I’m annoyed and a bit shaken; it’s not just inconvenience, it had real consequences for my surgery plans.
Rough start, but worth it in the end
I'm pretty happy with these now, even though I nearly gave up at the start. To be honest I was sceptical—first pack arrived with most units dead, and that was a proper faff. I emailed, got a voucher that didn’t quite cover the reorder and I had to pay shipping again, so I bit my tongue and tried a second time. That second batch had issues too, so I chased them a third time and after a bit of back-and-forth they sorted replacements and a small gesture towards the extra postage. Annoying? Yes. Fixed? Mostly.
Not what I expected
voicemail only, no call back. Email got a quicker reply asking for a short video, which I sent, but their answer was basically 'no extended warranty, no help'. It’s frustrating because Smok advertise a year’s warranty, and I was left sorting things with my bank who were decent enough to refund me. Not ideal, but it kept me going. Delivery itself was fine and the device did what I needed for a while, so it's not all bad, but the customer service and returns process were clumsy and slow. I won't rush back, I'll be wary next time. If you rely on prompt service, take note — prepare to chase them and maybe involve your card provider.
