Watching them fit the new screen felt oddly reassuring. My Samsung is not flawless now, but it works smoothly again and saved me buying another handset.
That blank-screen panic
Sat on a bench with a blank laptop screen, I almost walked past the tiny repair shop — was convinced they'd charge a fortune or take ages. I popped in out of curiosity; they fixed it in minutes, hardly charged, so I left a coffee and felt relieved.
Warranty runaround
I bought a handset here and, well, it packed up within a week. There was supposed to be a 60‑day warranty but when I asked for a repair or replacement they refused — and then blocked me on WhatsApp, which felt low. Phone was okay, but the way they handled it not great. If you go, check your rights and be wary.
Quick, no fuss
she sorted my laptop in minutes, really. Hands-on, clear, no fuss. I’m picky — had bad experiences elsewhere with slow repairs — but this place was straightforward. Not flawless (bit of a wait for parts next time) but I’ll go back, seems reliable.
Proper local find
Went in not expecting much, but the moment they handed me both kids' phones sorted and showed me how everything worked I knew I'd struck gold. The lass on the counter, tattoos and all, was calm and genuinely helpful — proper old-school service. We've had hassle at big chains before, so I'm really glad this family shop delivers.
