Dahlias raspberry canes and freesias
Long delivery time, but this is not uncommon at the moment.
Main gripes are that only 5 out of 50 freesias germinated; only half of the very expensive dahlias have appeared above the soil and the summer raspberries have shown no growth at all.
The dahlias that have made flowers are gorgeous though.
I will buy through the RHS next time.

The discount does not apply if you use gift vouchers.
This is just a get out to deny anyone the the discount, my granddaughters £100 purchased a few days before should have been honoured .
It’s a disgrace.
I have nothing positive to say about this company. The quality of the plants are poor, and when you send emails to complain you get no response. I shall not be buying ever again from them!
1 pulmonaria @£7.90, 10 cosmos @£11.90 £6 postage
Pulmonaria: small, poor condition with 1 flower stem only, which was broken--worth perhaps £2.90
Cosmos: 10 plugs arrived, good condition but 1 plug had no plant attached.
I tried ringing but no answer after 10 minutes.
I emailed my complaint as directed but have had no response.
Give these a miss
Ordered stuff (Hardware) for Christmas. All in stock on the website.... then suddenly not. Received one fork, which was supposed to be stainless steel, it isn't it's galvanised. What a rip off.
Give this site a miss.
If Sarah is running it she should be ashamed.
Pots and saucers
Absolutely shocking. Only received part of order. No information forthcoming regarding delivery. Impossible to get an honest response. Will not shop here again.
Plants and gardening supplies
I've bought from sarah for the past 3 years not had any problems till this year, and I'm very dissatisfied I've spent over £150 on various plants most of which did not yeald any flowers at all the others were poor and only gave me small amounts of blooms, I had other plants from other companies which performed very well. Also having ordered bulb compost. grit and other items back in sept I have to press only received 1 item, disappointed that I'm not getting replies to emails , I'm aware this has been a difficult year but I feel sarah raven has not given good service this season. Wont be ordering again as I feel I've spent a lot of money for very little or in the case of my compost order NOTHING. sad you cant reply to my query emails.
I will not be buying any more from this firm
New customer, order replaced three months later still not arrived despite customer services 1 email to say on.way.
Do not do business with this company.

Plants and seeds
Just always delays in receiving plants .if you order plants in April you lucky to get them in July ,they blamed covid but it's always like that in normal times . Not very good at replying to e mails . Won't be ordering again
Japanese anemone and foxgloves
Two months later and still no plants. When I emailed after a month, had to wait a week for a reply, which said they were delayed but would be sent by the end of June. Now 3rd July and still no plants.
Very disappointed and unlikely to try to use the company again.
Not sure why review suggests I would buy from them again as, so far , my experience from what I thought was a reputable company, has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Prepared to be swayed when my order eventually arrives, but unlikely to use them again.
Just cancelled my order and hopefully will get a refund as my order from beginning of September still hasn’t arrived. Wish I hadn’t bothered with this company now.
Hi I'm having problems with germination with cosmos dazzler and bright lights this is the third year i have had the same problem only a few germinate this year two bright lights five dazzler yet my 50p packet of sensation mix from wilko are close to 100% germination I've been gardening for 60 years so no novice only using the best seed compost in a greenhouse what am I doing wrong it's turning out to be expensive

I was quite admirer and follower of Sarah Raven, I have seen her show and read about her, saw her work and contibution. The website was really great, must say.
I myself love gardening, has been doing for a long while.
I got some stuff from Sarah Raven website, it was perfect. just as expected.
