There I was, perched on the sofa, surrounded by little sample bottles, because my usual shop didn't have the scent I wanted. I’d had a rubbish delivery before — parcel vanished — so I needed a reliable backup. Scent Decant turned up exactly what I was after and a few new things to fiddle with. The tiny 1ml sprays are the real win. They sit nice in your hand, don't leak, and you don't have to wrestle with fiddly caps. Spritz, sniff, done. Customer service actually replied like a human and sorted my missing parcel without drama, which felt oddly comforting. Do add that extra quid for shipping insurance — worth it. Only gripe is a couple of favourites are out of stock, but honestly, I'm happy. Bit relieved, a bit smug, mostly just enjoying the perfumes.
Decent repeat buy
It's reliable enough, so I'll keep ordering. I've used them about five times since last autumn and the product and packaging have been consistent — sturdy bubble mailers, tracking every time. Orders can sit in processing a bit longer than you'd hope, but they do arrive, so that balances out. First impression was that it felt cheaper than buying straight from the maker in the UK, where prices were ridiculous, and customer care wasn't great. Not flawless, but dependable.
Almost turned away, glad I didn’t
I first found the site after a mate sent me the link, and I was curious rather than convinced. I wanted to try a couple of samplers — one tobacco-forward scent and another clean, sporty one — just to see if the budget option could mimic the originals. I hesitated because of the mixed reviews and the prices, but went ahead. Packing and dispatch took longer than I expected. Then a proper blizzard hit and my parcel went missing with the courier, which didn’t help my nerves. I phoned and messaged the team a few times; replies were patient, not perfect. On the third nudge they reissued the order and it turned up about a month after I first bought it. The samples themselves were decent and gave me a clear idea of what I liked. So my initial doubts about quality faded. My gripe is the delay and the back-and-forth, but in the end they sorted it and I’m fairly pleased.
Double-booked order, but delivery saved it
I forgot to add a promo code, didn't get a confirmation email, so I thought the order hadn't gone through. I re-ordered with the code (it accepted it as first-time, weird) and then my card showed two charges. No one answered initially, just an automated “thanks for your purchase” email. To be honest I was ready to complain everywhere. Then, and this is the odd part, the delivery turned up on time, everything looked fine and actually helped my back straight away. After that I chased customer service again and they finally sorted the duplicate charge and applied the discount retrospectively — not instant, but they did it. So I went from sceptical to properly relieved. Not flawless service, but delivery and the eventual fix made it worth it.
Nearly gave up, but glad I waited
I honestly thought this was going to be a disaster. I needed a new perfume for a posh do — was running out, stressed. Delivery was late and at first I had zero updates, which had me proper worried. I messaged them a few times and they were slow, but after a nudge they re-sent the parcel and it turned up in the end. The scent is lovely, lasted well and I'm pleased I stuck with it. Also, customer service apologised. Small hiccup though — better tracking would help.
