the product itself worked as advertised once the mess was cleared. Still, the whole experience left me uneasy.
If you’re thinking of buying from them: check where the licence actually comes from, and don’t assume a cheap price is worth the risk. Insist on a verified download link and don’t ever follow instructions to disable antivirus. My wish for others would be: if you must use them, make sure you have full backups, and maybe mute anything critical until you’ve verified the installer on a disposable system.
Overall I’m mildly critical but honest — they supplied working software eventually, and Defender did its job, but the delivery and initial customer service were poor and that kind of cavalier advice to bypass security is simply unacceptable.A bit of a faff, but sorted
Not brilliant at first, but in the end I got it working. Bought Photoshop via Wowcher and the checkout kept failing with a 'captcha verification failed' message — kept popping up, very annoying. Customer support suggested using incognito, which I couldn’t on my browser, so there was a fair bit of faffing about. After several tries and a bit of luck it activated. Reminds me of worse experiences elsewhere, so slightly relieved.
Finally sorted, what a relief
I was about ready to give up after the voucher and a messed-up licence tool. Downloaded the files, got the permission error, sent a couple of emails and a form. Then, surprisingly, someone replied after a day and walked me through it. Licence opened, and it's been fine ever since — works in my daily routine for invoicing and light editing. Glad it ended well.
