tidy instructions in the email, no weird hoops, and the app started straight away. I did have to chase support over email once with a small question, and the online chat was slow — I was in the queue ages — but they eventually came back and sorted it. Bit of a scramble at first, but once it worked I relaxed and I’m happy with it.
Nearly gave up, but then it clicked
Half expecting another faff, I rang after a mate tipped me off — the first call did go pear-shaped, the line dropped and I even got an “invalid number” message, so I thought, oh great, here we go. Then a different agent called back, sounded proper, said “we’ll sort this” and actually did. That moment when they fixed it and stayed on the case — that’s when I was genuinely relieved and pleased. Saw them on a forum first, fyi. Glad I stuck with it, a bit annoying at first, but it worked out in the end.
Key mix-up, but Office works
I was mid-coffee and half-asleep when the email with the Office key landed. Thought great — until the installer said the key was already used. I had a chat with support and they quite keenly offered to take over my machine; nope, didn't fancy that, felt a bit too intrusive. They resent the same key which, unsurprisingly, still didn't work. In the end I went straight to Microsoft, entered the genuine key and had everything running within half an hour. Now the apps feel slick and familiar — Word and Excel are back in my morning routine for notes, budgets and uni stuff. Not perfect process-wise, a bit messy, but the software itself is fine — saved me from another spreadsheet meltdown.
Stuck at fifteen minutes and my inbox got a migraine
a "15 minute" timer that clung to 15‑14 for ages, then more checks on my card, more waiting, and bits of the site kept throwing pop-ups. I did eventually get a download link and the licence works, so that's the weird bit — product itself seems fine. But the next day my email filled with adverts, four, five a day, proper spam; I'm in computer security so I can smell a dodgy opt‑in a mile off. I asked them to remove my details — silence. Also be prepared to spend time unsubscribing and to blacklist their domains — it's a faff. Mixed feelings: relieved the software runs, annoyed at the sloppy, noisy buying experience. If you want a quick, clean buy, go to the official source; if you like small dramas and chasing things, give this a whirl.
