Honestly, I'm happier with the kit I ordered online than the same stuff I used to buy locally. Long story short, the online ones last longer and the pods actually work — which for me is the whole point. I use these every day, on my commute and during quick breaks at work, so reliability matters. The shop-bought packs would go flaky within a couple of days, batteries dying fast or the pod refusing to draw and just showing a red light as if nothing was connected. I opened only one online pack so far and haven't had to swap a pod yet, which feels refreshing. Not sure why there's such a difference, maybe quality control, maybe luck, but I'll stick with ordering for now and hope it keeps up.
Ended up OK, a bit of a faff
I'm relieved — not perfect, but sorted in the end. I ordered because my old mod, which I've used since 2020, finally packed up and with all the tighter vaping rules I needed a quick replacement. I was sceptical from the start: their site listed items out of stock, then showed long 'available after payment' windows, and the delivery estimate was wildly optimistic. Customer service was patchy at first, replies slow and inconsistent, and I did consider cancelling and disputing the charge. But after a couple of phone calls and one stubborn email they actually sent a replacement part and offered a partial refund for the delay. It wasn't slick, and I had to chase them more than I'd like, but the kit arrived working and priced fairly. The price wasn't brilliant but fair considering the supply issues. So, overall I'm pleased — could be smoother, yes — but they fixed it enough that I'll buy again, cautiously. A bit of a rollercoaster, but ended up fine.
Slow fix, but eventually sorted
the unit they sent didn’t match what I ordered. I phoned and messaged, and at first support basically said they were on holiday until the end of February and I’d just have to accept it. That felt dismissive, frankly. After a couple more nudges they did eventually send the correct colour and offered a small credit as well — so in the end the problem got fixed, just very slowly and with a lot of chasing on my part. First impression was disappointment and scepticism; by the end I was mildly satisfied that they made it right, but I wouldn’t call the experience smooth. If you value quick, communicative service this could be irritating. The product itself works fine once you’ve got the right one, but the whole delivery and customer service run-around left a mark.
Said it was in stock, wasn’t — story of my life
how something as simple as honest stock info would have saved me a load of bother. Anyway, I left a review, because sometimes shouting into the void is therapeutic, and then I got an email saying my order had “magically been shipped” in the middle of the night. No contact, no explanation, just overnight magic. Now, maybe it really did go, but I’m sceptical — mostly because the whole runaround felt like being ghosted by a shop. I’ve had worse customer services in the past (I once waited three months for a replacement phone cover — yes, three months), but this one felt more deliberate, if that makes sense: show “in stock”, take the cash, and, if people complain, suddenly find a tracking number to silence them. My tank and mod are lovely — honestly, they’re great and I’d shout about them — but without coils they’re as useful as a chocolate teapot. I’ve tried canceling, tried the chat (the chat!), and mostly got vague promises and a “we’ll reply after our vacation” line, which is the most corporate thing I’ve read this year. To be fair, when the tracking did eventually appear it might have been genuine and maybe the warehouse had a moment of chaos, I don’t know. It’s just annoying, and it’s one of those things that makes you think twice before ordering direct from small manufacturers again; I’ll probably go back to a reputable third-party who actually keeps small things in stock. So yeah, not all bad — the product itself is sound — but the ordering and customer service were a shambles, and that’s what sticks in the throat. If you’re considering buying, maybe phone someone first, or at least screenshot everything as you go. Lesson learnt the slightly expensive way.
